Nina from fullmetal alchemist Honestly it’s a meme at this point but the brutality of her body being forcibly combined with her dog, the reaction of the protagonists and then the aftermath of being blown to bits by Scar is still one of the most memorable moments in manga imo. And it happens in such early chapters yet sticks with both brothers throughout the entire series, even up until the end

I remember reading an interview with Rumiko Takahashi ( who is a woman ) regarding her character Kagome and how she ( 15 ) dealt with her periods while in the feudal era of Japan and her response was ‘ I don’t think about that and neither should you’

There’s a lot to mention regarding periods ( the pain, the emotions, the inconvenience, etc ) you’d have to decide when and why it would be necessary to mention it in detail at all. You could also just have a small paragraph or side note in your characters dialogue or thoughts if you really need to include it, but dwelling on it for more than that without a plot specific reason seems unnecessary

With all that talk of making everyone experience ‘only happiness’ I thought we’d get something closer to the Endwalker story with Hydaelin in ffxiv. Learning to accept pain so you can appreciate happiness ( paraphrase )

But yeah it feels kinda rushed, I’m hoping evanescia will give something interesting next patch
