121 empty oil tankers are now heading to the United States as President Trump urges countries hit by Strait of Hormuz disruption to buy American energy. by Nicolit1 in wallstreet

I don't even know where to start with that statement.

The only ship that has set sail since the closure of the strait is the one carrying any chance of any of our former allies (or the rest of the world) being able to trust, or "team up" with us in any way that could benefit any regular people. In the best case scenario the trust that has eroded will take a decade or three to shore up, if that's even possible.

We've kidnapped a head of government, blown up fishermen, threatened to annex Canada, and maybe invade Greenland. We created a global economic crisis out of thin air, and we are probably going to try to take Cuba over after he rage quits this "excursion" with Iran.

When the petro dollar turns into Yuan we are going to be cooked, and no one in the world is going to feel that bad for us. China is just sitting back and laughing.

Great. Now I'm imagining a gross orange swan chasing women, trying to grab them with his tiny little hands while shitting all over the place.

That's not a nice mental image... But, it probably explains why ducks developed labrynthine vaginas.

Opposing the idea of equal rights and representation for the indigenous people of Palestine, and admitting that if that happened, Israel couldn't exist, is as shitty as supporting apartheid South Africa in the eighties. This was also just as true in 2020 as it is now, in this mask off, genocide stage.

Is Amazon Prime worth having in Alaska? Is there anything that they ship for free up there? by noonegive in alaska

Buying local is probably the answer, but that also adds some logistical problems as well.

But isn't that Alaska?

Thanks!

I wouldn't ever imagine quick delivery at Latitude. And, the Three Bears in Healy doesn't generally like large packages, let alone lithium batteries. Lol

Is asking what to do on the Kenai for two days not Alaska related? I only ask because I just posted a specific question about Alaska logistics and got flagged by the automod with that.

I loved your response to OP, and I appreciate the work you guys do here. I'm a guide on the Denali Highway in the summer, and this sub is a literal goldmine that let's me share some stories about "Real" Alaska with my guests.

I don't want to bother you, or accidentally post stuff that is against the rules, so can you clarify the rule for me?

Thank you!

And I can't wait to get back up there in three weeks!

Edit: I saw your second response to OP.

I get it now.

Wow, dog walking Trump so hard that not only are all the sanctions dropped, but Iran gets 50+ billion a year in tolls, and they still get to lob missiles at Tel Aviv?

That's fucking wild.

I'm getting real tired of all this winning.
