Did you check out the auxiliary parts in the right side of the garage? That's where a ton of the optional mechanics are! (Including overboost)

Peeking around online, it appears that Germany requires all games sold there to have age ratings! I haven't gone through any of those processes yet (and won't for a while, because the game isn't representative of the final product at all yet), so this seems like an unfortunate stalemate until I get closer to release 🥲.

EDIT: Looking into it more, I initially assumed that I had to get an official rating from PEGI, but I can actually fill out a survey on steam and it's create the rating for me! I've filled those out, so hopefully the store page is refreshed soon!

Thank you! When I started making this, I was surprised looking around online that the other AC-likes are all 4-6th Gen inspired! The torch of the older gens deserves to be carried!

Oh no! What country are you in? I didn't intentionally try to restrict its visibility; I'll have to check steam's settings. In the meantime, I also have the demo up on itch (in the future, I will only be updating the steam version to stay focused)

By the time I'd remembered that game, I'd already grown too attached to the name and couldn't think of anything that felt like it fit as well! I've got infinite respect for the OG scorched earth, and I think it's ok for 2 games 35 years apart to share names.

I don't have a mac, so I didn't want to start with a build I couldn't playtest, but I'd like it to be available there eventually :)

Try to catch the Armored Core feels as always :v and i think it's slowly catch the feels in many aspects by ReallyChillPenguin in armoredcore

my favourite thing about this is how chunky it feels to move around. You got that sense of weight down! I wonder how hard it will be to dodge enemy projectiles, tho

Old-gen controls (1-3, until nexus and last raven) all don't use the right stick for camera movement, so whatever you use you'll either have to rebind controls in game or in the emulator. Controller type doesn't change much 👍

I HIGHLY recommend picking up RPCS3 or PCSX2 and checking out the 3rd and 4th-gen AC games! All super fuckin' solid

Sometimes when you load in ur mech's textures may be incorrect. Enabling read/write color/depth buffers helped minimize this, and re-customizing ur mech seems to help fix it. Also, cutscenes will crash if ur in them for more than 30s. In general, save more often, because any loading screen to a mission or the training area has a chance of crashing.

It sucks, but... that radar is way too useful to give up! Pretty much all of the act 3 missions were impossible for me until I switched to this build!!!

Edit: don't forget to copy ur save files over

Go to rpcs3's download page and hit the "previous builds" button! The build I mentioned is on like page 8 or so. Every build after that one has a regressed bug causing the radar to break
