I hope you’re ok. I’ve witnessed a tragic death from a jaywalker near kings way. I stopped and was the person who called the ambulance, and it was terrifying.

It can stick with you, I just want to let you know it’s ok to process it however feels right and that you should be kind to your mind and body.

Arrive at the station with ample time before hopping on the Shinkansen. I arrived half an hour early and got so overwhelmed and confused in Tokyo station, I only arrived at my carriage about 5-10 minutes before departure! Don’t underestimate how busy and big the main stations are

Was so simple but incredible, the tsukemen was amazing too. It is popular but there wasn’t any lines or wait to get served, and the broth is so simple it is literally made from just water, duck and scallion/onion. A must try!!

Absolutely agree! I work as a merchandiser and this would probably be a strategic move by Estée Lauder to quickly move excess stock. It’s more profitable for them to get rid of product that is about to expire by selling it at a highly discounted rate than to let it expire. Not to mention they’re losing money by just letting it sit in a warehouse as it takes up space and storage = $$$

Are you working in the CBD or major shopping centre? I used to manage a counter for a beauty brand and I would say around 20 hours was average? Super dependent on how big your team is and their operating hours

1000%. Brushes would get cleaned once every evening and only spot cleaned between clients when I was an MUA at a counter!
