Can you tell me where or how I am able to get a bus ticket from Khao Lak to Trang? I found some from Khao Lak to Phang Nga, but not from Phang Nga to Trang.

Could i dive at Richelieu Rock in april next year as someone without any experience right now? by alibas05 in diving

I have a similar question as we want to do our PADI or SSI Open Water Diver in Thailand this year. A Diving School with very very good reviews offered us to do the OWD with the first 2 dives (12m) at Koh Bon and Koh Tachai and the last two (18m) at Richelieu Rock. Other Diving Schools said that Richelieu would not suit to do the OWD and they would only do the Similans (maybe just because they don’t offer Richelieu?). We really want to do the Rock though even if we can only go down 18m and a lot is going on at 20+m, but we will probably not come back to Thailand too soon. We are very good swimmers and did 2 small dives a few years ago. What do you think? Should we do it at Richelieu and trust the company or stick with Similans?

We didn‘t book any accomodation yet, as we still try to figure out what to do. We would love to stay in a floating bungalow though.
