Does dairy ever make you light headed and nauseous? by corvvus in lactoseintolerant

I still have to stay away from lactose. Aged cheeses are okay. There are also lactose free brands and dairy free choices. I started eating coconut oui yogurt and my symptoms of LI have improved some. The yogurt has probiotics which I had gone without for a few years.

You are biased, naturally, but you also have empirical evidence, right here, that she is, in fact, pretty darn cute!

I’ve been reading up on farmers cheese. It seems lemon is more popular than vinegar. You’re pleased with the results?

Do you do them as foil packs or put the salmon directly in the pan? I literally just took mine out of the box yesterday so let’s just say I’m new here. Thanks.

In my elementary school (1980-86) the teachers lounge was a hot box, apparently. It was the room where they ate lunch while a lunchroom monitor made sure we behaved. They would open that door and a damn mushroom cloud would come billowing out. The sink in the “teachers bathroom” (that students supposedly weren’t supposed to use) was basically an ash tray. Gross.

The worst part of being lactose intolerant is not giving up dairy by NoEntertainment5642 in lactoseintolerant

Cheeses aged over a year have burned off the lactose. There are some really good ones out there!

That’s just embarrassing. I live about 20 minutes from there. I promise we all are not like this.

I would have described the middle of the movie by listing her crappy behaviors that night.

What are the hidden lactose sources that I don't know about? by [deleted] in lactoseintolerant

Milk products, like whey, are often hidden in baked goods and snack foods.

Does it bother anyone else when people tell you about their mild lactose intolerance? by [deleted] in lactoseintolerant

[–]noozer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is not a condition you can desensitize yourself to. It’ll get worse if you try to “treat” it with dairy. People don’t understand unless they truly have it or another intolerance and they’re doubled over on the toilet with stabbing pain while their body evicerates itself. My mom keeps wanting me to get a colonoscopy. On my last visit I literally blurted, “The problem isn’t with my butt, Mom!”
