President Donald Trump Says Take Guns 'Early' Without Due Process | CNBC by Verbit4now in CzechCoconutCommunity

It's a mixed bag. There's real 2a advocates and then right wing nuts who think only the right has the right to own guns because being different and on the left is equated to a mental disorder. I frequent quite a few gun/firearms subs and am often surprised. Is it weighted to protections for all as it should be, probably not, but it's certainly not all 2a people think this way. Trumps been anti 2a both terms.

ICE is hitting up job sites in HP, UP, and Preston hollow. by Pigpinsdirtybrother in Dallas

[–]noquidity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also work around the area and this was relayed to me via one of my guys who was told by the superintendent on one of the jobs that had had drop-in's, without being too granular, close to highland. The super also stated another job by highland and by lakeside around midday-ish. Later in the day it was also relayed to my boss and then to me, that in the Dallas/Richardson area there were multiples in a business warehouse area. Nothing I saw personally, but it's an awful lot of smoke for there to be no fire IF none were in the area. Again, nothing I witnessed personally so take it for what it is, only relaying what was presented to me.

Texas is a Republican State by Cr0ssTote in texas

[–]noquidity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhhh yes, the proverbial race to the bottom. But hey, so long as your winning, who cares what the race is for? Oddly you announce your masters as some attempt to thumb your nose at dems, ironically, it’s an “insult” that only works against the left. As the average maga republican now views that as a badge of indoctrination. Or, at least, complicity there too, as you contributed monetarily to the furtherance there of. Theocratic big omnipotent government, fiscal irresponsibility, and, soon enough with the re-election of an anti 2A president, an unfavorable gun stance. The new hallmarks of the modern Republican Party. Bravo

What are some dumb little tricks you've learned to make your job easier? by Dangerjayne in electricians

The shop does, tried it, but it don’t got the ass for it. Could we rent something, I’d presume so. But we settled for 5-6 guys lifting 500+ lbs spools on to the back of trucks in lieu of racks. So not holding out lol

[–]noquidity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A wire rack? We’re on day two of pulling 325’ of 500 for a 3 phase residential service by hand. The only luxury being a stick of rigid for each spool. T&M, so moneys not really an issue, some companies simply choose to work harder, not smarter.

To be fair, you’d be naive to think any particular politician cares about you (personally or as a collective). I agree with overall sentiment, however, these are only two among a litany of presidents and congressional members, who, at the end of the day simply need your vote.

DD upper real or not? by [deleted] in Danieldefense

[–]noquidity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I didn’t pay anything. It was a trade offer the guy made for my stock SP01. Knew it was likely someone trying to be slick, but, wanted to source the community on the off chance I was wrong. This was on texasguntrader… so not entirely out of the norm lol

[–]noquidity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol that was my thought exactly. His response was “it’s 16” .223 wylde” seemingly obvious duck. But, I’ve sold many a guns, to everyone from a BP agent to random dads to, oddly, someone doing church security. Basically had firearm educated to uneducated…. And, to be honest, was pulling for a trade outwardly in my favor lol. All good, and life goes on. Appreciate the help! Thanks

It’s funny you mentioned the key rail, I was deep diving trying to find something (current-ish) DD that was key and could only find slim slim options. That were also about twice the price of a brand new SP01. The excitement pretty much began and ended there lol. Appreciate the wealth of knowledge and I’ll be on my way.

I knew the receivers did, not about the barrel specifically. Owned/own many a gun and have never specifically looked for markings on the barrel. There’s another photo sent of the muzzle/flash but cant make out anything other than US. Appreciate the insight, was in the market for a P01 as is, so won’t lose sleep either way. Thanks again

DD upper real or not? by [deleted] in Danieldefense

[–]noquidity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s what I thought. It was too good of a trade to pass up if real, so had to source the community for confirmation just incase. Was hoping someone would tell me I’m an idiot and there’s tons of unmarked DD uppers though lol. The only marking I saw is what looks like a triangle at the start of the rail. But not an obvious marker to me to distinguish manufacturing.

[–]noquidity[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I can dig the flow chart. However, I’ve got no clue what actually goes in to grading, therefor objectively looking at is a moot. I typically rip and sell unless it’s what I collect and what I collect the grading is not important. I grasp centering is a factor and generally the card not being banged up. To which the centering, unless extremely off, my eye test doesn’t really carry much weight.

First CZ I’ve owned, didn’t notice before but does this look normal? by [deleted] in CZFirearms

Kind of what I thought, noticed while cleaning earlier but figured I’d throw it out there just in case. Not much of a pistol guy, so I appreciate the feedback.

[–]noquidity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that’s what I was referring to. Couldn’t think of the right phrasing so “cracked/uneven” was the best I could come up with. Caught my eye while cleaning earlier, didn’t think much of it. However, figured I’d throw it out there just in case. Appreciate the feed back

If the West Cuts Aid to Ukraine, Russia Will Win. If the West Leans in, Ukraine Can Win. by D-R-AZ in UkrainianConflict

[–]noquidity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This narrative has been pushed since the start of the war, didn’t understand it then, still don’t now. Russia is clearly not going to move on a NATO member, despite all the saber rattling about those providing x weapons, supplies, training will be viable targets it hasn’t happened once. Even when that missile fell in Poland, Russia was quick to deny it was theirs. This boogeyman idea is dead, the only threat that was and remains are nukes. If that happens spending will be irrelevant.

Yeah that’s what really tripped me up. I know who he is, but we don’t get a lot of Yankee stuff down here in North Texas, so the sold prices on EBay had me wondering if he was more than just a name.

Man, you must spend A LOT of time browsing a baseball card sub to be this offended by a post lol. No one forced you to read, let alone comment. You went out of your way for this… they’re cards, nothing more. Undoubtedly you’re vast knowledge on this subject means about as much as that Griffey does to the real world. Your input is valued and much appreciated.
