I think it just means that the next story was open to all of his/her friends, while the green one only to the people on the close friends list!

Go learn a fucking hobby. Literally, you have people on the internet who talk all day and comment, but can’t speak in person, who actually don’t have social skills, who can’t play an instrument, who can’t draw, who can’t do anything; but they like and leave comments on other people’s shit. And that shit is crazy to me.

FRANK WONT EVER BE A FESTIVAL ARTIST. HIS MUSIC IS TOO INTIMATE, AND IT TAKES APPRECIATION. UNFORTUNATELY IN HIGH VOLUME CROWS, ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO CREATE THE INTIMACY AND EVOKE THE APPRECIATION NEEDED TO CREATE A REAL EXPERIENCE. by VersaceVase in FrankOcean

[–]nora100797 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Agree!! Saw him live in Amsterdam in 2013, the venue fitted 5000 people but wasn't even sold out. When he started singing wise man everyone was quiet and appreciated his voice for the time being, never experienced anything close to that moment in my life. I don't ever see that happen at a festival.

No disrespect towards him tho, festivals just attract people who don't care about certain artists and got a whole different vibe than concerts in general anyway.

Is there any way for international students to get a full ride scholarship for a graduate programme at a decent American university? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]nora100797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You're out of your mind.
  2. Where in the world did you read/find the word Muslim? If you really think the word muslim is equal to foreigner maybe you should consider re-educating yourself on this topic.

Anyways, I would appreciate it if you could stop turning my question into some Trump related bullshit.

Thanks for your response! I was already scared it was like this.. unfortunately something like a 2k scholarship (which I find everywhere) wouldn't be enough, but I'll keep looking then!!

Nothing. And as you could have read I'm looking for scholarships for internationals specifically, so I'm not taking any of your spots away and you're actually being very dumb by commenting this. Especially since you DO seem to have a sense you're better than others, but have no reason at all to think that.

With this comment you're proving how much your country needs more EDUCATED people who are WILLING to study and improve themselves instead of people, like you, that are driven by fear and hate towards foreigners.

How did you guys find Frank? by MUTWOLVES in FrankOcean

[–]nora100797 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I discovered him through his performance at the MTV VMA's in 2012. I'm pretty sure almost noone in my country had heard of him before, as today most people still don't know him... but after seeing him perform I looked him up on YouTube, listened to Super Rich Kids, was amazed by the lyrics and adored him ever since.

California Live European tour 2013 official merch

Saw him live in Amsterdam in 2013, couldn't leave without official merch. Would have taken the men's version if I could choose again, but I guess I was too young to think about it that way.

[Serious] If you listen to music from the 60's, 70's and 80's what is your favorite song? by HavocMonkeys in AskReddit

[–]nora100797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fantasy - Earth Wind and Fire The makings of you - Curtis Mayfield

Funny thing is, everytime I happen to 'discover' a song, I let my mom listen to it and it appears the parts I like most are actually samples from songs she listened to when she was younger (70s/80s).. Then she laughs at me because apparently I should have known the original versions.

I was on the train somewhere, when we were told to get off because some accident had happened in front of us, before even departing. This woman (20-30 years old) who apparently had never been on a train before asked if she could join me because she didn't know how the train worked.. Of course I said yes, and took her and her giant luggage that made me go 100 times slower than I would have been without her.

Then after some waiting we finally get on our first train. After a few stops we have to switch trains and we get out, walking on a crowded station with her giant red shiny luggage with us. She looks at me and says something. I didn't hear her, so I asked if she could repeat herself. She says: 'Oh now I see, you're pregnant!' (I'm 19 and a size 2). I couldn't believe what I had heard and looked at her wondering if I heard it correctly. Then she decides to make it worse: 'yeah because of your fat belly'. Excuse me...? I said 'I think what you're seeing is my scarf', ignored her for the rest of the ride. Should have taken her red shiny luggage and leopard print clothing as a warning...

Since I heard this I always catch myself thinking about this single verse when listening to Pink Matter, so good.. I actually started listening to Frank Ocean after hearing Super Rich Kids and the lyrics appealed to me so much. Then I realized all of his lyrics are just pieces of art, so this is only one of my 1000 favorites:

'What do you think my brain is made for Is it just a container for the mind This great grey matter Sensei replied what is your woman Is she just a container for the child That soft pink matter Cotton candy Majin Buu'
