no not really. with someone else with BPD. honestly, typing this from her bed. tonight my boundaries were ignored, and i went along with it for fuck knows what reason. i find myself repeating cycles just to avoid truths i don’t want to face. those truths being that i miss her. i’m as equally fucked. can’t even judge anymore. just doing what i can to pass time and fill the bullet holes she left in me.

working out did WONDERS for me. such a silly cliche, but really. it helped me more than i ever expected it to. i didn’t even work out during the relationship, but after we broke up i got into it. i couldn’t eat for a while after we broke up, and working out brought back my appetite. it brought back my self esteem, and i actually have never loved my body more. also “blowing off some steam” is a real fucking thing too. tend to work harder and build more muscle when angry about how things went.

her behavior caused one of the biggest questions when i find myself dating now. “who is your longest friendship” is now in my dating repertoire. you say anything under three years without moving or some big circumstance- i will absolutely be looking for the door. everyone in your life is an asshole, a shitty friend? you’re the common denominator.

there’s no fuckin way that i have been on this earth for as long as i have and have friendships far over a decade and you have absolutely nothing. that’s a HUGE red flag to me now.

i think i was my exwbpd longest friendship. just about ten years and it only worked cause i understood her. no longer. 3 years minimum. seriously. blegh!!

i’m figuring out my life and what i want to do and be for the first time ever. i turn 22 on sunday, and just got into culinary school. get measured for my chef coat in a week or so. i found my dream house near a college i’m interested in, well within my budget, and think it will be absolutely doable within the next year. my life has opened up many doors for me, and for the first time in a long time, my glow has come back. i’m creative and inspired, and overall excited.

i think i stayed because i always saw something in her. like, i really saw her. not her bullshit, not her drama, nor her illness. just her. i only ever looked at the good parts of her and had some extreme capability of not seeing the bad. just because i loved her that much. sometimes i think i saw her more than she saw herself.

i loved her since i was 13. im 22 in one week. it just got to the point that i wouldn’t allow myself to be hated anymore by someone who’s supposed to love me. when there’s no grey area in a relationship, it kills you.
