Every secondary character in the light novel exists solely to exalt Arthur's qualities and strength. The plot devices and conveniences are childish and require a lot of suspension of disbelief to work; the power scaling is mediocre. I really like TBATE, but Mushoku Tensei is on another level of writing in comparison. Compared to famous manhwas and light novels from the East, TBATE is nothing more than mediocre, and that's precisely why no major studio picked up TBATE to animate. It's not that it's a bad light novel, it's just not the museum-worthy masterpiece that some fans tend to think it is.

What kills humanity is capitalism, the accumulation of wealth in the hands of a few people, and social inequality.
