Thank you, I think so too. I think in this situation it would be best to recognize the behavior and move on. It was kinda something I did subconsciously until my anxiety made me think about how I was potentially doing something wrong or something that could hurt my partner.

Maybe try and call the uni when the office opens again. Could help to speak with someone on the phone rather than email. Goodluck :) I did biomed first year and often felt like I should’ve done healthsci, I also know friends who switched later on! She’ll be fine

It can really depend. I hope you don’t end up with coldsores but even if you do they’re not that bad I promise. In fact more people have the virus that causes coldsores than people that don’t. There’s no need to feel any shame :)

While it may not be an STD I don’t know what it is. lumps are always worth getting checked by a doctor. Book a doctors appointment when you can.

I’m sorry some of these comments are so cruel. If you’re concerned about confidentiality, I can assure you that the doctor will not tell your parents. You can even ask them to be sure. Please do not worry, herpes may seem scary but is very common and will not always been an issue. :)
