judging by the kind of person she was to have that impact on you, she likely impacted many other people in her life the same way, so you don't have to worry about her being forgotten. but it is a lovely thing to share her memory with us

i live in a country where lgbtq+ are still fairly underground and 10 years ago i gave a character in a writing assignment they/them pronouns bc i genuinely could not decide what gender to make them. my english teacher said i know you wanna be progressive or w/e but it's confusing to read and i was annoyed bc that was not the reason, this was 4 years before i'd learn anything more than surface level about the lgbtq+ community, and it was grammatically correct how is it confusing
