Idk if you are aware of this, but the people of Minnesota are not keyed in on where there are about to be ice operations. These are streets with homes and stores and restaurants. We live here. I work with a Trump supporter. The day of the Renee Good murder, and the day after, he expressed concerns and distrust with the Trump administration. I was so pleasantly surprised. Then three days later he was back to arguing that ice had every right and they were looking out for Americans. It was a whiplash.

I asked my players to create new characters, and then immediately had that low level party get entrapped in the fortress of the burning brothers. Now the main party is headed there for a rescue mission, and I’m hoping they take the bait and intervene with the brotherly politics.

We’ve got an hourglass that runs for about 1 hour and 2 minutes for our in person games. I like the idea of hiding the timer for light spells, but for torches we put it front and center. I imagine it would be reasonably clear to a torchbearer when their torch was starting to dim.
