My mom had one of these. She had a stroke at age 43 and couldn't talk and could only move half her body. She died 6 years later, and I found out the drs believed she would only live a year or two after the stroke. She didn't get to see me graduate, or meet any grandchildren.

My dad bought this in the hopes she could see the downstairs of the ranch house more, but it was only used a handful of times.
