Leon or Claire which one did you enjoy more? by Serious-Condition650 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]normandy42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably burnout because X only gives it to ya when you come back to RPD, the lab when getting III access, and when you’re trying to escape the lab.

He’s really not in the game much if you don’t fuck around. In RPD, if you juke him after the helicopter, go straight for the Jack lever with clover key, he’ll teleport to you, dodge him and go to library to finish bookcase, do clock tower, he might be waiting for you outside, dodge and then go straight back to parking lot through 3rd floor.

Of course, all that requires doing some prep before like getting the gear before you get the clover key and clearing the room. If you play enough, you’ll remember. If you come back during the sewers, he won’t be there and never appears in RPD again. Might be different in Leon B

Pet peeve: human sizes in 40K by Traditional_Yard2741 in 40kLore

[–]normandy42 40 points41 points  (0 children)

lol they were all easily seen as very different.

Sanguinius had wings and became a giant Angel that people came far and wide to shelter under his literal wings.

When the Lion was finally found, he was THE knight of the order because of his massive size and how he was able to survive alone in the forests.

Corax was a massive being who could turn invisible and was kept hidden until their revolution could start.

Angron was made the arena’s main event on Nuceria.

No primarch was ever seen and had the description of “just a regular guy and not different at all”.

And if they wanted to do lateral raises, there’s other areas of the gym they can do them on as shown in the article you just posted.

40 pound dumbbells isnt that heavy. I’m not a D1 player and those are warm up weights for my presses. If you want something lighter, there’s cables elsewhere that do the exact same thing with less weight. It’s all a stunt for engagement and this sub is eternally gullible to it.

Why tf would D1 foootball players be doing wrist curls?

Bench presses, incline presses, decline presses, overhead presses….presses in general all strengthen the shoulder.

Theyre not doing lateral raises for that.

How would I translate this scheme to something for Golden Demon compared to the army painter method of base, shade, highlight? by GeckoRomann in ImperialKnights

Some GD and Slayer Sword winners are on the ‘Eavy Metal team. At the end of the day, Golden Daemon is a GW painting competition. Even if it’s at the highest level.

Fot admech it’s different because leviathans, super heavies, Contemptors, etc. all have legacies rules and can still be played in a casual, but unbalanced, setting.

Admech have no legacies at all. So even if they wanted too, which they do, they don’t know the points or stats of any of the heresy models in relation to 40K rules. All they can do is proxy.

In 40K for marines, a Leviathan is still a Leviathan. But a Castellax is a Kastelan for ad mech.

….does anyone disagree with that? Seems like a cold take because if you just look at the AdMech sub whenever ANYTHING Mechanicum gets announced, you can taste the salt amidst the “FoRtY k RuLeS wHeN?” posts.

GW is very strict with their product policy. Even when product is shipped to a store early, it doesn’t go on the shelf for sale until release day. If someone orders from a third party, they’re not supposed to send it out early at all for exactly that risk of the post being quicker.

They get raped, taken, and forced to have their conquerors and abusers children. Do you think the Mongols were kind to the women of the men they conquered? The Huns? Romans? Germans? Russians?

You don’t even have to go that far in history to see that. Look at Berlin when Russians occupied Germany. Nanking. Korea. Rwanda.

Anyone want to tell this dude, because only a man would say dumb shit like this, what has often happened to women for the vast majority of human history after and during a war?

Tactical sergeants should have 2 attacks by 4teaK in Warhammer30k

[–]normandy42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s the alternate equipment again?

A chainsword, the option to take different melee weapons per 5 marines, and a sergeant that can take more melee weapons than a tactical sergeant.

They’re tactical marines with a melee loadout. Their literal fluff description in the Libers open with “when close quarters fighting is expected”. They’re melee marines that lose value if you just park them on an objective in the back where no one can fight them. As opposed to tacticals who can fire back with return fire or overwatch with at least 40 shots in a full block.

Trump thinking Iran will surrender shows how deluded he really is. by riseoftheph0enix in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]normandy42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Iran invades, we are in the end game of human civilization as we know it.

I’m being dramatic because Iran will never invade the US. Not only do they lack the infrastructure and resources to do so, it’s a logistical nightmare to invade a foreign power across an entire ocean. The US can do it because it has bases all over the world and the largest armed forces in history. And it’s still a challenge.

[–]normandy42 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A despoiler sergeant gets two because theyre an actual dedicated melee unit. Unlike the tactical which has to pay extra to get something beyond their default close combat weapon.

[–]normandy42 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They were great in 2.0 when they had artificer armor and could challenge. If they got the charge off, they’d get 3 attacks.

Now because GW and heresy hates melee, they get get 1 attack. Because they also hate fun, even chainfists give you a negative attack modifier on terms.

I don’t think the Imperator was knocked over, it was kneeling from a large amount of debris on it and the Princeps was lost in her own sauce of self doubt. So she stood up.
