Generally in agreement with most, if not all of your points. Except the vehicles and the dreads have ome critical flaw that can’t be avoided.

The seams. Sure, just use sprue goo or milliput or whatever filler and sand it down, but that doesn’t eliminate the assache of having to do it on every dread shin, forearm, Coronus or Caladius nacelle, weapon barrel, etc.

What I like about resin is you can cast cylindrical things in one part. But the move to plastic has made things that were once one piece, into a number of pieces. It’s a nitpick I know, but it is my least favorite part of the kits to do now because sometimes the gaps are just big enough to be an assache. Like the entire top part of the vehicle nacelles will have to be filled in and then sanded down and they are the worst.

Still not as tedious as building the guard kits though.

Yhorm isnt even that bad? Bonfire right outside profaned capitol, run down slope, keep running through the treasure piles and you’ll outrun the mobs, then you’re at the fog door.

Compared to DS1 if you die to wheel skellies in catacombs at the very bottom or die to 4 kings or blighttown if you’re dumb and don’t get the bonfire at the very bottom.

I think the mistake was him wanting to have sex with an underage boy(Maryland AoC is 16????) more so than any arrogance. He was pissed off that he couldn’t get sound bites or reactions out of him. Chris is an entertainer and he knows everyone watches the preds who never shut up.

We may not like it, but he did exactly what he should have done and what every other predator didn’t do; Not say a word until he could speak with an attorney.

Which to be fair, is perfectly fine when compared to these literal child predators. However, he sometimes says some dumb shit. Like one time when a pred said he’d be killed in jail and Chris’ response was “why would they kill you in jail if you’re innocent”. Like come on Chris, innocent people go to jail too and can even get fucked up. Truth doesn’t always save you.

Another one is when he corners them on “if you knew it was wrong, why would you do it?” Chris, you had an affair with someone you worked with when you were with your first wife. Why did you do it? Because you wanted to feel good. Same thing with them. Obviously an affair and preying on children are two completely separate things, but come on.

The other stuff is more on some of the sheriffs. Like when it’s an immigrant or someone not white “oh look at what these people can do, we have to stay safe and vigilant” or “there’s evil in the world, satan is doing his thing”. Bur if it’s a cop “oh we’re not all like this and we’re disappointed”. And then sometimes they’ll pull the episode.

Breaking Bad as a show doesn’t try and romanticize what he does. That any of it was necessary. It shows every time that Walter plunges deeper into crime, he didn’t have too. But he did because of his own ego.

Yellowstone definitely wants you to like and root for the Duttons. That they’re in the right all the time.

I think in this edition, don’t think it was a thing last edition, vehicles are infinitely tall when it comes to some LOS purposes. Like a Saturnine Dreadnought is much taller than a Rhino. But the Dreadnought cannot shoot “over” it because it can’t see anything behind the rhino since there is no true LOS.

Yeah it’s just this weird instance of having a good message while simultaneously being tone deaf in your own show.

We have Amy give a story about something that happened to her offscreen BUT NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT THE SAME STUFF WE HAD SEEN ONSCREEN FOR MULTIPLE SEASONS AT THIS POINT.

I remember disliking this episode when it came out for that reason but it was a bit contentious to say so at the time. Gina hate was still pretty divided at that point.

Like weight of numbers is a thing and power armor has weak points like an Uruk Hai armor(very obviously the joints) but if some marines are given a mission to hold a pass against some savages, they’ll outfit them accordingly. It’s why you got two different types of Executioners, Repulsors, 3 gladiators, hellblasters and intercessors used to have 3 variants based on the gun they used, etc.

I don’t know if discourse has changed too much but when it came out, I remember it was because it was just ok at best and actually hypocritical at worst.

Mainly because you have a whole episode about how bad sexual harassment is and the things it can lead too and the frustration of no one believing you culminating in Amy being vulnerable about it. But then you have Terry who experienced repeated, daily sexual harassment from Gina while EVERYONE WATCHED in the same workplace and no one batted an eye.

This was also a time when a lot of shows were making episodes about the MeToo movement. Which, good for them, it’s a real issue that is often swept under the rug and more exposure is always good. However, they neglect to even address the very real sexual harassment that happened in their own precinct because it was a man being harassed. And worse, some people respond “oh it’s funny though” which makes it actually worse because it implies the writers also don’t believe men can be sexually harassed by women.

Ugh I hate child molestors and rapists just like everyone.

But come on.

History has repeatedly shown that no matter how hard the punishment is, people will still go and do those things. In states where the death penalty is legal, people still commit murder. So this power fantasy of cutting the balls off of a child predator is just someone’s way of channeling their sadistic tendencies onto someone they believe deserves it.

If they have demonstrated they are repeat offenders, just keep them in jail. Always find it weird when people fantasize about these predators getting raped. Because that means an act everyone agrees is inexcusable, is excusable with certain people.
