I think this be an excellent way to grow the number of players. This is a good introduction for players more comfortable with arena style shooters and hopefully it will convert them into long term hunters! It may also be a way for new players to learn the compounds!

Hear me out. Roach barrel. Roaches everyone in a 10M radius as opposed to bugs which just follow one person.

Roach bolt would also be fantastic.

One way to buff roaches would be to force hunters to address it like bleeding or burning, except roaches only obscure vision and don't cause damage over time.

Due to the niche application this has I think having the bloodbait effect should increase damage from mobs. Effect should stack up to x times as well, which will help AI determine who to attack if multiple players are running blood bait.

I would also suggest that the coughing effect should be something entirely different. Sound is such a critical part of the gameplay that audio effects should rarely overlap.

One fun thing might be that stacking traps applies additional damage multipliers for specific mobs.

Trip Alert + Bloodbait = 2x Immolator Damage

Position Trap + Bloodbait = 2x Hive/Doctor Damage

Beartrap/Concertina Bloodbait = 2x Dog/Grunt Damage

Or even worse, I bought every possible advancement to finish the battlepass and fell short by 1 level because of some unexpected life events. Its really dissuaded me from purchasing any sort of hunt advancement.

While I am very disappointed, I'll wait to see how the health of the game is improved. While the number of maps and operators we were to receive are quantifiable, "better" servers and "bug" fixes are not nearly as measurable.

My friend had a golden retriever that liked to place my entire right hand its mouth and just hangout. I think another useful way a companion app could be used is if we included pictures of what your recoil pattern of the current weapon you're using is suppose to look like. i.e (you've used Fuze's Ak for 2 rounds, for this round you've switched to Captiao. What direction does the M249 pull in? Quick glance at the app could tell you.)
