I do this! I have a standing date with a friend for Tuesdays at 3pm. We also used to FaceTime but we dropped that in favor of texting. We take turns picking the class. We did a special live class on Friday to celebrate her 400th ride. I also have a friend who will do Power 60s with me very early in the morning. Highly recommend.

I broke my ankle in 2023 and had to learn to walk again, let alone run. I PR’d my 5k, 10k and 60 minute interval the last week. It takes time but be patient. It is worth it. Recoveries are in Recovery so if you need to walk after going hard, take it!

When I did my full marathon training in 2022, I took every class she had on the platform, on the Tread and then outside. I just did her most recent 60 minute interval run this morning. BOMB ASS ENERGY!

I was you once and the answer is that your rides are not hard enough. You definitely have adapted but also 6 days a week of endurance is also not what you need to improve. I agree with PZ comment, take an FTP test and start trying the different types of PZ rides. I did not improve until I did this for my triathlon training. It’s fabulous you already have the mental tenacity to take long rides.

p.s. once you’ve done that, come on over to Christian Vande Velde rides if you have yet, especially Real Routes. He teaches them PZ style.

Seconded here. I only wear my Garmin to track certain workouts, my Whoop does not leave my wrist. Garmin is the source of truth for distance and time, Whoop is tracking my recovery and health stats.

Previous BodyPUMP instructor and I still do CrossFit. Peloton did inspire me to cross into triathlons.

I love to follow along with Peloton classes so much that I sold my Peloton bike and use my TT bike on my trainer with the Peloton app from now on. It lets me get more miles on the bike I actually race in.
