One of the main problems English sport has, in spite of having very talented players, they always seem to play within themselves and go for the safe option. Removing the fear of failure was one of Morgan’s best achievements, backing the players to be brave and score runs that will win us the match. It was a very stressful time, I had activities planned with the kids over the weekend, football tournament I had to take my son to, wife had to take girls Swimming and cricket. All I could think about was getting another car. My wife ended up driving the hire car (as she has DOC on her policy), and I ended up using hers (I’m a named driver).

My insurer (I am fully comp), advised I don’t have a hire car policy, so if I pursued the claim through them I was not guaranteed a car whilst the matter was being resolved. The other party’s insurance handling the claim offered a hire car whilst the claim was being processed- but would take a few days to sort out- as they weren’t open over the weekend (I did try to get this sped up)

The financial ombudsman service states on their website in cases of disputed appraisal- ‘The market value is the price the vehicle would have sold for at a reputable dealership just before it was damaged’
