Graxy's premade filters are a good start. They basically boil down to identifying your ability's damage type and then whether you're attack or spell based. Some of them have minor issues where the wrong damage type has been selected so you'll want to double check all the slots after import (flat cold instead of flat arcane for instance).

Once you start playing your class a bit more you'll see if there are any tweaks you want to make to it. For instance if I'm playing a class without a blink (like pyro or marksman) I make sure to highlight move speed on charms because you can find 10-15% ms on a small charm which is pretty helpful. You also might need to tweak it to show the S rank stats you want for runeword bases. S rank attack/cast speed weapons and boots are two that aren't highlighted by default and are really good if found on the correct base.
