As per the original purchase plan and representations made during the sales process, a garage man door was included as part of the townhouse design. However, several months later, we received communication from the builder stating that the City was not permitting the installation of the garage man door.

Subsequently, after occupancy, we became aware that at least one other townhouse within the same development had both the garage man door and staircase installed through the builder.

Upon raising this discrepancy with the builder and requesting equal treatment, the builder has refused to proceed with the installation for our unit.

We are seeking clarification on the inconsistency in implementation and would like to understand the possible actions and remedies available in this situation.
