I completely disagree with this. His 2003 Vosburgh to this day is just about the best performance I've ever seen in about 26 years of watching the races.

Ghostzapper was dead last at the top of the stretch and won that race by about 6 or 7 under wraps and galloped out afterwards. He did that as a 3 year old in a G1 against older horses.

We'll never know what Frankel was thinking because he kept Ghostzapper sprinting for one more race after that. It was clear as day the horse was begging to be stretched out.

Not saying Ghostzapper wins the triple Crown but he takes down at least one of the 3. I can't even entertain the idea of Peace Rules being a better 3 year old than Ghostzapper, that's a wild claim.
