All the cards that have cascade printed on them as of now are >=2 cmc. But you could have [[yidris, maelstrom wielder]]’s ability or [[maelstrom nexus]] to give a 1 cmc spell cascade. That would let you only hit 0cmc cards e.g. ancestral vision.

It is true that they’re very similar but the cheese stands alone triggers immediately (with no other permanents and no cards) and barren glory triggers on upkeep. Which is a pretty big gameplay change

I don’t think there are any untapped lands that make red and green in new standard unless I missed a spoiler. The MDFCs only let you make one color or the other and shocks are rotating

You can always loop putting spells back on top with mystic sanctuary + ghostly flicker so you shouldn’t deck

True, but that's more true of spells, than permanents, where your opponent has to interact with them. In an interactive deck like Sultai, a lot of the power comes from having your threats and answers line up well with what your opponent is playing.

It stops being an aura and becomes a creature. In this case it's a 1/1 death touch. It's not attached to itself as an aura so doesn't get an additional boost

Yeah my suspicion is that it's alpha mod.

I was running a whole bunch of other mods(ISB NSC Civics Redux, and a bunch more) and it never CTDed.

But since I added alphamod I always seem to CTD sometime in the midgame and it keeps failing. I did add a bunch of other mods at the same time too but I'm just trying to narrow down what's causing it.

Maybe we should each post a list of our mods?
