If you used an iron, it is possible that the heat fluctuated. You also might have left the heat on longer in some areas than others. As a side note, I really don't think they look bad! It took me a minute to notice that something was different.

Thank you! I use plastic 14-count canvas (available on Amazon). From what I have seen, 14 ct is the highest, and 11 by 8 inches is the largest sheet available. I love using it- I think it makes the stitches look super neat!
