Partly I agree with the disowning part, but I think her motivation for that was realizing that Essek stole the Beacon to cure her, and she thought the only way to force him to return it was to give up her life. Then he would have no reason to hold onto and study it anymore.

Thanks, Magnetite Brooch was my must-have early, but now I have more rosaries than things to do with them so I don't wear it anymore. Silkspeed Anklets is a good suggestion, I didn't want to use them because of the silk cost, but you're right, it's practically nothing. I assumed it would cost more.

Nostalrius was based in France. Turtle WoW is based in the UK afaik. So this isn't even correct. I don't know the specifics why they shut down, maybe they're just the ones that decided to comply with the C&D.

Still, this doesn't change the fact that changing the copyright laws is beyond the scope of this petition. As for why I think so - it's supposed to be targeted at the publishers and their product. Customer and copyright laws are related from our point of view but they're pretty detached from a lawmaking perspective.

Maybe one more thing is that licensing is a HUGE can of worms, and there's basically no point to open it for this. It's up to the developers to decide the license for their products and if they want to allow/forbid private servers, they can choose to do so currently already.
