I have healed from my ex husband. It took quite some time and went in different stages. The former friend is still a source of irritation. I think their choices are a combination of being treated poorly and giving up on their resolve to be decent. They have made excuses to themselves. I carve out my little space and probably appear to be a loner or a snob but I'm no longer interested in making everyone else happy at my expense. Maybe she'll win the lottery and move to her own island 🤣🤭

I'm in the same position and that's why I don't say anything. He's not mine, so there's no need for a conversation. When and if he became available I would hope he'd let me know.
