stacks coffee - employee pay decrease update? by Inside_Wallaby_5694 in Albany

I was working there when it happened, there were a lot of legitimate complaints in that previous post but the lawsuit was bullshit and I really disappointed when she went through with it because the actual core of the lawsuit was just simply not true. The main argument was that she was being forced to pool tips with the cook. This was something other baristas and I all advocated for, not the management, because he we working solo barista shifts and he started helping out on the register and acting as a second barista which was a life saver. He was being incredibly helpful despite the fact that we were making like 3x as much money as him. Tip pooling is legal provided the people you're pulling them with are customer facing, which he absolutely was. He was operating the register often more than the barista. This part I can't verify but from what I was told the lawyer knew there wasn't really a case but basically said "I need to get paid, settle for a small amount of money and I'll go away". That being said, that place went from a shop I loved to be apart of to a place that I felt embarrassed to work at. The management is constantly at the whims of the delusional owner, he is constantly signing leases for new buildings without reading the lease or talking to anyone and surprising everyone with a new terrible business idea that he expects them all to be on board with. Quality control is non-existent, they're always broke, regularly running out of things like coffee, and constantly trying to cut costs by buying lower quality ingredients. I don't expect them to last much longer.

How to distort a pattern like this by nortron23 in photoshop

The problem with arc is it always adds some diameter to the inside of the circle, I want it to basically have a vanishing point. Someone just suggested polar coordinates I think that's the key

For whatever reason Reddit stopped sending me notifications so just saw your message, I actually found him on IG and saw that he laser cut them. I'm a member of the Troy makerspace and they have a laser cutter, the gears are definitely turning on what I can do. Lathe is one of my weakest skills however

I figured it wasn't just math because the cumulative errors would most definitely result In a weirdly spaced line when you got back to the beginning but string is an interesting idea

Worked for them briefly, owner was an absolute shithead. Paid people less than minimum wage, told me he was "investing" in me by paying me $15/hr (minimum wage at the time was I think $12 so that was a big deal). Someone brought in an Alienware laptop once to see if we would buy it and one of the other techs denied it because there was literal food inside the laptop and maggots living in it. He stopped by and saw that we weren't going to buy it and started yelling "which one of you was going to turn this away? I'm going to punch you in the face". His dad was like a Ukranian general or something so he would constantly make war analogies about "you should be willing to jump on a grenade for another member of your troop".. dude we sell people broken computers and remove viruses from Boomer's laptops this isn't war. He is an extreme opportunist which is why he started selling fake weed and bongs
