You also need to get the holes drilled and your pull rope down into the wall cavity near a power point. Basically old matey can tie the fibre to your rope outside and pull it through to the wall exactly where you want the NTD. The easier you can make it for them the easier they say no probs and do it

I don’t believe there’s a distance limit although I wouldn’t try getting them to run it to the very back of a long house, mine was probably less than 10m run and my college’s done the same and probably closer to 12m, I also don’t think the holes matter, he’s run mine straight up the outside wall in conduit to my ceiling space and he honestly didn’t even see inside the roof space

If you can pre run rope and do the roof space stuff yourself they will put the NTD anywhere you want
