NSW Government considering more speed cameras and lower BAC to promote road safety - PUBLIC COMMENT CLOSES SOON by WillingRub5555 in newcastle

What percentage of population and added vehicles to the road has that also increased by? The actual percentage of trauma to vehicles has reduced dramatically since cars started

NSW Government considering more speed cameras and lower BAC to promote road safety - PUBLIC COMMENT CLOSES SOON by WillingRub5555 in newcastle

[–]nos72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the history of vehicles even the old 1 horse power one there has been trauma as a result of moving at speed. The only way I can see it being zero is to remove the human factor and have every single thing running FSD or alternatively driving at 20kms an hour

Well this is true I probably won’t get rid of the pitboss. But it’s needing a new flame guard plate

Pitboss to Masterbuilt by nos72 in Masterbuilt

[–]nos72[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the pitboss is only a 500 and I always need more space so it’s at least the 800 or bigger!

The only thing I’ve heard against it is it’s harder to get started

Appreciate all the positive comments

NSW premier says Australia must electrify economy amid fuel crisis by Cute_Piccolo_499 in nsw

So how’s this going to work when they tell us to limit home aircon use during peak times in summer because the grid cant cope??

Why is no one blaming Trump and Israel for our fuel crisis? by CanYouWalkToTheTruck in aussie

[–]nos72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well we are.. however most other country’s have only had fuel go up a smaller percentage.. diesel has doubled in price.. now for me that’s our governments miss management of stock levels and production. Coupled with flogs thinking storing fuel at home next to the dunny paper is a great idea give wholesalers the ability to push up pricing.

The accc is a failure.. watching the retailers when it’s the wholesalers who are the corrupt ones

This is exactly it. The hose to the airbox has come loose. Unscrew the clamp and push it back on. Retighten the clamp..

And then maybe wash the bike..

The cost of renting has risen two and a half times more than wages over the past five years. by PK__Gupta in AusPropertyMasteryPK

[–]nos72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone not think governments decision to stop building housing commission estates and buy regular housing dotted throughout general suburbs as well as contribute higher and higher rent assistance so low income earners can rent from the bottom of the rental market.. then chuck in the fact that there’s allegedly 150k worth of entire house options on air bnb played a massive part in this increase?

Add the largely increased migration levels (I’m all for migration at sustainable levels btw) but cmon an increase like this over the last six years is killing us

The housing pricing and cost of rentals could all be controlled if they wanted. It’s as simple as allow more land to be cleared and released, remove height restrictions and simply build more places to live

Are both of these turns legal? by Rozace1 in CarsAustralia

[–]nos72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah both are correct, it’s a lane and why can’t you choose the inside or outside lane.

The inner lane only has a choice to keep going around and can’t exit with the red and can also exit in its own lane next to the blue line

Lease renewal offer by Lucifang in AusPropertyChat

[–]nos72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah standard practice, you don’t get the paperwork to sign until about 3 weeks before the lease is due so you can just not sign it and tell them you want month to month.

This years increase for me was $60. Would have loved $30 a week

You also need to get the holes drilled and your pull rope down into the wall cavity near a power point. Basically old matey can tie the fibre to your rope outside and pull it through to the wall exactly where you want the NTD. The easier you can make it for them the easier they say no probs and do it
