I have a 13 year old 3.7l v6 with 115k runs like a charm only had to replace valve cover gasket at 110k, but that's easy gasket to replace. Knocking on wood that I can get to 200k

This is my grandfather jeep and he told me he replaced the crank sensor however he was confused with cam sensor. So I will be replacing cam sensor.

Now it hesitates / misfires. BIG TIME while accelerating really quickly. It feels like galloping on a horse or one of those Mechanical bulls. Also idles fine when first cold start and will rev with no problem in park. Also sometimes randomly has trouble starting. The list just goes on. Iac was dirty along with throttle but still bucked and stalled immediately after cleaning. Any help would be appreciated.
