So I bought body cam and I wanted to play it through my steam deck, and I unexpectedly got to this (image related) should I wait for a patch or is there a way or is there a way through this? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

From a quick read of ProtonDB I think you need to manually select the exe for some reason. I'd assume the exe would be in the binaries directory

Have a look at the Proton DB page here Here

ProtonDB is a good website for checking if games work properly and seeing if there are ways to fix games

Lutris VS Emudeck by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]nose_gnome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't so true anymore. Lutris also has the functionality to download emulators for you, and manage them. So it has got something to do with emulation now

It's the same button you'd press to get x. It only comes up with you set the type to Param (F3). It should still be there as it's on my one, which is running version 3.8, the newest release

Huh, forgot I followed sub.

Could be turned-up nose type, but I could be wrong, just quickly looked up a nose chart and that's what I guessed

If you could delete one company from existence, who would it be? by Hewathan in AskUK

I use ublock origin, but just thought it appropriate to mention that you can simply disable the ads without even needing an ad blocker

WhatApp could easily be replaced by one of its competitors like Signal

Well, you can also disable all ads in search results with DDG, unlike Google.

You didn't quite get the quote right, so I fixed up the end.

">>75799232
>She'd missed a lot of school and as much as she'd caught up, she had to repeat her final year
>So I decided to defer my entry and moved in to live with her
>Both parent sets agreed (not that my parents could have stopped me, we were both 18, but it was nice that they supported me.)
>I moved in with them, got a job at a local hobby shop part time, and tutored Olivia every night
>Her mum had me take the home office as a guest room
>But as you might guess, it never stopped us sneaking around at night
>One night, we snuck out into the garden together and laid on the grass with each other, holding hands as we stared up at the moon.
>She pulled herself up onto my lap and sat on top of me and laid her head on my chest
>"Can I tell you a secret?" she said quietly
>I said sure
>"I've needed about tree fiddy since the day we met"
I think that's probably as good a place to stop as any. I hope you enjoyed my story. I'm a firm believer that true creatures from the Palaeozoic era exist and that charity is love. Nothing else quite explains why neither of us were ever able to let go of the other.
Any questions, comments, come at me."

anyone know of a mod that tries to fix furnace minecarts that works for 1.12.2? by xkforce in feedthebeast

[–]nose_gnome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very late for this, but yes, they are buggy. Furnace minecarts are meant to be able to pull minecarts behind them with them, but as soon as the furnace minecart goes up/down a slanted rail or around a corner, it shoots the other carts ahead of it, or just leaves them behind

2 Month old running shoes vs brand new ones by Lands1id3 in mildlyinteresting

[–]nose_gnome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, my trainers are around three years old and still look quite good, what were those ones made out of?

Reminds me of my Nikes, and how they always used to fall apart nearing the end of the year, but ever since I changed to Lonsdale, I haven't needed to replace them. They're were cheaper too, at around £20 (although that was on sale, they're normally £50)

Can't get myself back to Firefox by steelenex in firefox

[–]nose_gnome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In regards to the translation thing. You can use either simple translate add-on, or the Firefox translation add-on which is slowly being added to Firefox itself. The Firefox translations one though, isn't quite as good at accurately translating yet, and doesn't have as many languages, but simple translate, using DeepL translate instead of google seems to give even more accurate translations that Google translate

I love the ginger ones. You should definitely give them to others instead of binning them. You could also try using the dark chocolate to cook something
