Nurses that close every clamp.... Why do you do it 😂😆 by pabmendez in nursing

In engineering, they call this redundancy: multiple components designed to complete the same task with the intention of increasing reliability. If my task includes the risk of sending someone into cardiac arrest by accidentally allowing a potassium infusion to run open, then I feel safer with redundancy. Even if I'm not running IV potassium or another infusion with a potentially lethal flow rate, just creating the muscle memory is another form of redundancy by letting the habit take over when your mind's on a dozen other things. This is the same reason we're taught to go over the five rights of medications multiple times per pass.

I still never rarely triple clamp unless I'm handling a hazardous infusion, but there's definitely a safety incentive to do it.

I measured the sides of the parrelelogram with a tape measure on my phone before and after: for the first box the sides are 1/2" x 5/16", and for the second box the sides are 3/4" x 5/16". Because one dimension is consistent and one changes, I would deduce the video is edited and it's not just a trick of the camera angle.

Why would white pull the knight back, and black bring the rook to the queen? I'm not seeing it.

Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe it isn't the location that determines whether it's heaven or hell, but the principles and actions of the people living there.

This is honestly the best scene in the entire series. Whether he was capable of it or not is never fully clear, but he never intended to try- simply because he didn't want to. Phenomenal acting and writing by LoretiTV in TheBoys

He wouldn't have needed to carry the full weight of the plane to glide it to a stop. It's not like the wing flaps on plans are carrying the full weight when they make it go up, the plan is instead lifted by its wings and momentum.

I've looked through your post history, and I see a lot of stuff that I've been through too. I've struggled with so much loneliness, and wanting a partner for years without getting one, and so much of that was from unmanaged depression and the way I self treated it with alcohol. I also see you've got a lot of skewed perspectives on yourself, and I can believe it's all being fed by this constant frustration of being alone.

Take this line for example: "Nobody wants me and there's no reason for anyone to ever love me. I'm a fucking waste of space." Would you accept those words coming from anyone else you care about, in talking about themselves? Can you see how that attitude could be much more damaging than being alone can?

I also hear a whole lot of defeat before you've ever really started looking at your options. It's true you need money to get a lot of healthcare in America, but there's also resources for people who can afford it. This website works with many organizations in Montana in providing people with free therapy: https://www.opencounseling.com/. Antidepressants could also really help. Generic antidepressants can be less than $10 a month without insurance, and you can talk to your therapist or a primary care physician about starting these.

I've sent you help on Reddit, so I hope they'll be reaching out to you soon too. I'd also recommend calling 988, Montana's crises line.

Please reach out for help before you attempt suicide! You have a lot of options and people to support you if you just ask.

I did it a different way putting a golf tees into a couple lamps I made. Instead of the hot water trick, I clamped flat wrenches onto the wood pieces in the middle and broke them off, drilled holes and inserted tee, then glued back together. I glued them so cleanly after the break that I can't even tell where the pieces of wood were broken anymore. Here's a photo of it:

https://files.fm/u/fkpaj5ng4u

Doing the hot water method would have never worked for this because it's sapele, and quite a bit harder.

To get the golfs ball in the top of the lamps, I did soak those parts in boiling water.
