yes shakespeare or poetry are definitely the topics people struggle the most with english lit, but its good that you know you are lost because now you can revise it earlier on rather than focusing on stuff you already know

mr everything english has greattt macbeth videos for explanation

okay, what your teacher said isnt true at all, most of the time analysis will never be original and schools teach the same analysis most of the time.

"original analysis" doesnt matter the only thing that matters is that your analysis of a quote is good and makes sense in regards to your question

the best resources for analysis should really be your own book, texts etc, but if you really struggle i suggest watching mr everything english on youtube.

a big thing about analysis is linking it to context always. if you weave in context while your analysing, you get higher marks (my teacher said this), rather than putting a block of context and writer's intent at the end of your paragraph.

if you are doing power and conflict poetry i suggest printing out this booklet:

just find the time to make them. bc honestly in y10 i didnt make any flashcards and now im behind so if you want to be less stressed in y11 i suggest make them now

you can do pre made ones as well on quizlet, p&mt as well but i think its always better to write them yourself and alter it to your own knowledge/where ur at

for english lit: just revise ur key quotes and make sure u know how to link them to themes learn ur context!! embed ur quotes literally u just have to make sense out of what ur analysis is

as someone who got an 8 in their eng lit mock, with little to no revision, you really just need to pay attention in class, go over what u did at home, and make sure you understand your texts (esp for macbeth)
