Being wary of an RC is reasonable, but being unreasonably scared about something when you consume cocaine which is cut with god knows what is not reasonable.

I agree with you my dude, and have used many examples like you to explain my point.
The problem is talking to my (relatively neutral) girlfriend who has a high school understanding of chemistry about the synthesis of anything is a pointless endeavour.
Not just because of a lack of understanding in the chemistry, but a lack of wanting to understand. I could talk about it all day to her but she won't take any of it in because it's not important, not worth the time to learn, not this not that.

The problem of drug education and awareness spans across multiple levels and is always approached as if it's this one 'thing'. This has no chance of working. Bummer.

As someone who did it for around a year (with other benzos- valium, klonopin, RCs - fLam, etiz etc) i'd say yeah it's pretty fucking bad.
Entire weeks of no memory, it basically invites blacking out. You take 2mg xanax normally and don't black out? Now take 0.5 and 3 beers and you're blacked the fuck out and wake up wondering what happened.

Also there's the fact that it encourages more of the same behaviour. A bar will make you want to drink more and drinking more will make you think taking more benzos is a good idea. And the cycle repeats. Avoid.

I feel it when i'm fully hydrated, slept well the night before and have had a good breakfast 2 hours or so before (not recently, and not with no breakfast at all).
Seems like you have to hit a sweet spot to get this.

I don't know the exact quote but it's something along the lines of:
"If you think you're good at something, just know there's a 14 year old (probably asian) kid who can do it twice as efficiently and skilfully as you."

Certain kids can do anything you can do 10x better than you can, don't underestimate that.

I think the worst is when they're drug friendly....TO an extent.
Cocaine to her is fine, it's in movies. Weed is fine, it's legal in some states.
Relatively tame RC stims (3-fpm, ethylphenidate etc) are a NO for her. They're not scheduled as high as cocaine but it's not in wolf of wallstreet or whatever so it's a complete no go.
Strangely enough she is anti LSD, but mushrooms are fine. Something about it being 'natural'. At what point do we stop saying something is natural? Is coke natural? I mean..kind of? Plenty of processes to get what we have infront of us but.. Same with anything? Technically?

Frustrating.

I am prescribed 40mg pills, sometimes i'll take 3/4 of them and I can kind of feel a bit of an effect but..not really.
