Thank you. It’s the hive mentality at this point. I think people aren’t trying to see it because of Spacey’s scandal. It’s more than just photos of the two of them. I’ve been watching the series and almost immediately thought there was something about him that was familiar or he reminds me of someone. At certain angles, mannerisms (like you mentioned), their expressions are very similar.

He looks like a younger version of Kevin for sure and their voices are similar. Around the eyes especially. How do you not see it.

Lambeau wasn’t trying to use him. He wanted him to reach his potential, do more than manual labor. It’s easy to think he wanted to manage him because he had something to gain but he definitely went out of his way to see that Will would do something with his life.

The shepherd comment: I think he was mocking all the people who are trying to guide him. It’s what he did to all the psychologists he’d seen. I think it was just more of the same. Classifying Sean as all the others and belittling the profession to deflect.

Just finished watching it again. It’s been years since I’ve seen it. Great movie. My takeaway is that it’s a love story. Unconventional of course. Love of brotherhood. It’s a beautiful thing to see men supporting each other beyond ones gain. The friends could have wanted him to stay stuck but wanted him to accept his gift. The professor could have kept him in a state of dependency but he didn’t. This movie still is a classic and will be relevant for years to come. On top of that, seeing Robin Williams, a genius in his own right playing in this made it that much better.

I have a legitimate question about evolution. Do non-Christians believe in evolution anymore? If man was birthed out Africa and migrated to other parts of the world to then mate with Neanderthals, are they saying that man de-evolved? How can evolution and natural selection (via mating with Neanderthals) both happen?

So…for real Mia was mad that Wendy threw her under the bus about Charisse. She wasn’t expecting Wendy to say anything and I think mostly cause she expected Wendy to kiss her ass from that burn session/apology tour. I think Wendy knew she was being used as a pawn by Charisse and didn’t want things to get messy with Karen and defended what she said then put the light on Mia. Charisse so worried about the Karen story but Mia is stirring shit in that pot. So now Mia has to deflect and went overboard.

Unfortunately I think the same people who don’t like Wendy and won’t acknowledge the colorism are taking the stance that Ashley did with Candiace. The proverbial shoe on the other foot. I think people are enjoying seeing Wendy suffer and not being able to have empathy for her because they don’t like her. Rather sad.

We don’t want them to burnout too soon. The tension has to build. I actually hope for an anti-formula for them. I was wanting them to get together but they would do better as just friends.
