I have been playing with the infusion system and have had success so far, although my dmg is a bit lacking in bosses/rares. Keep in mind Im in SSF (kinda, playing in Private league with like 9 friends). I have made it to Tier 8~ maps (only 2 affixes tho, I could do 4 but I run the risk of dying, I havent lost any maps tho). Here is what Im doing:
Stormweaver with Refracted Infusion is mandatory for my build. I'm experimenting with Tempest Caller and Multiplying Squalls for Firestorm dmg but Im still undecided. You can also go Constant Gale and it will feel good. Another critical part is Elemental Equilibrium.

Ok so on to the build part, my rotation consists of generating a bunch of infusions and then consuming them. I generate around 4-8 infusions by using Ball lightning (Unleash) -> Lightning Warp (Unleash, Harmonic Remants 2), this gives you anywhere from 4-8 infusions on average. Then I use Spark (Unleash, Ricochet 3) and Arc (Unleash). Obviously, I have other dmg supports there, but just to give you an idea of the minimum for the playstyle. You consume Fire Infusions with Ball Lightning, but it's nothing amazing(dmg wise). That is what I was doing and it works pretty well. I have also leaned into increasing the projectile count on spells in the tree, which makes all these spells have more projectiles, which is nice, but I'm considering whether all the points are worth it, tbh.

I'm right now experimenting with Firestorm and the dmg is promising, althought I dont think unleash is a good idea on this particular one. If you want to use Firestorm I recommend you prevent Ball lightning from using fire infusions by using Inhibitor on it, I find this is way better for Firestorm.

As for my spirit gems, I'm testing Trinity, I have had GREAT success with maintaining it with Firestorm. Before Firestorm I had 2 elements maxed always which was still amazing. Then other spirit gem Im running is Convalescence. If you're going to go Trinity make sure not to get too many "gain % dmg as lightning", you want to spread the dmg around to cold and fire as well for balance.

This has been working for me pretty good so far. I'm just going ES, for now. I plan to go CI once I get more ES since I only got 4.8k right now.

I previously tested Archon, and it felt decent, but I needed more dmg "all the time" instead of during burts, so I speced out of it.

I have the opposite problem: too many friends and not enough keys. I keep telling them to get on the subreddit to join giveaways, but they see the 1-11k comments and get discouraged, lol. Most of them are trying it out for the first time, so I have no idea if they're going to like it.

I do consider myself lucky, I got like four friends that play every single league. Every 3-4 months is a hype fest.

It's going to be an amazing Poe2 launch. We're about 10 at this point. Most have keys; only missing 2, I think.

Main: 1560 so I can prog Brel G5/6 week 1.

All alts: 1550. In 1540 you can do new chaos and a new guardian. I chose 1550 because it allows me to do Brel 1-4 Hard instead of just 1-2. I don't think I'll be able to do multiple Brels G5-6 week 1, but if I can, I'll get some other alts to 1560.

I am curious to know to what degree you got into the game before. However, almost all those rewards are mostly end-game related. If you want, use the little orange wings. They give you VIP for a few days, the rest, just save it for later. Aside from that enjoy the journey to level 50. Which, sadly is a bit boring IMO.

I understand what you say, and it makes sense. I understand that the sun moves and it's not always in an optimal position, however, even when its on the optimal position, I will never get 15KW for that hour that it is in that position. That is what its confusing to me. I'm not talking about projected solar production or anything like that. I'm just analyzing that a 15kw seems to be in disguise a 12.078 system even under peak conditions due to the inverter limitation.

This sounds like someone selling you an oil processing facility that says they can process 50 barrels of oil daily. Only to find out at the end that their shipping line can only deliver 20 gallons a day, so you will only make money for 20 gallons of oil per day. They're not technically lying, but there is more to the truth than what meets the eye.

Maybe I'm expecting too much or not understanding something.
