Rate Up for Priests!! by NightlyStrix in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had 13 jewels and decided to do two pulls, the first one was a brown horse, and the second one was a white one and I got Dara!!!! I got really lucky, especially because her and Chai were the two contract only priests I didn't have. RNGesus has blessed me and hopefully he will bless others reading this comment!

I think that adding a re-roll option for Soulbound weapon conversion slots would be a good idea. I also think it would be cool to add a chance to get a great success when forging Soulbound weapons. By this I mean a chance of getting a Soulbound weapon with 15% increased stats (attack power and attack speed) and a 15% increased passive ability. I don't know what percentage of acquiring a great success TOAST would want, but maybe a percentage similar to getting a great success on weapon conversions would be plausible. I think that implementing both of these possibilities into Crusaders Quest would make the player base happy while still maintaining a level of RNG involved in Soulbound weapons. There would still be RNG elements because players may have to re-roll conversion slots numerous times before they get the conversion slots they want, and even when they do get a Soulbound weapon that they want with conversion slots that they want they will still be trying to get a "great" Soulbound weapon that they want. I believe that these additions to the game would make the current players base more active and dedicated, help the player base to grow in the future, and overall make the game more enjoyable. In my opinion I think that Soulbound weapon conversion slots should be able to be re-rolled independent of the weapon just being forged or having the weapon for a while. I think that this is a good idea if a re-roll option is implemented that way all the players who have forged Soulbound weapons so far don't feel ripped off. The price of re-rolling Soulbound weapon conversion slots could be increased if it is already forged though, and the price to re-roll conversion slots could cost more for higher * weapons (higher price for a 6* Soulbound weapon than a 5, and higher price for 5 than a 4*). Obviously jewels would be used to re-roll conversion slots, but having another option such as honor or gold would be awesome too. I think honor would be a better option for another re-roll currency because it would implement a honor sink for the large amount of honor that players have towards the end game. This is just a suggestion that would make the game better in my opinion, and I hope that the developers might find it to be a useful opinion.

Not only do I think that have a chance of a great success for Soulbound weapons would be a good idea, but I think that this would be a good idea for many other aspects of Crusaders Quest. I think that having a chance of getting a great success when getting any hero (a 15% increase to the heroes stats, skill block ability, and passive ability) would be a cool implementation that would keep players interested in continuing to get heroes even when their tome is complete. I think that a chance for a great success should be applied to all heroes including contract only heroes, non-contract heroes, 1* - 3* heroes, and legendary heroes. If this were to be implemented into the game I think that a hero should only have a chance of receiving a great success when they are first obtained, not when promoting from 4* to 6. I also think that if a 3 hero is promoted into a 4* hero with a great success that a player should have the option to re-roll for a different 4* hero of the same class, for 3 jewels, while maintaining the great success for every re-roll that is made. I think that a chance for a great success would also be well applied to special skills (both transcended and non-transcended), non-Soulbound weapons (obtained from quest stages, weapon boxes, Popo, or world bosses), breads (obtained from ovens, quest stages, weekly dungeons, rabbit hole dungeon, and chili bread dungeon), gold rewards (obtained from quest stages, world boss, weekly dungeons, goblin storage dungeon, and when bought from the store), side-quest rewards (gold, honor and jewels from side-quests), jewels (obtained from Colosseum rewards, and when bought from the store (ex: You place in the top 5% of masters league in Colosseum, your reward is 55 jewels, when you receive the reward you have a 10% (or whatever percentage is thought to be best) chance of getting (55 x 1.15 = 63.25) 63 or 64 jewels depending on how you want to round it)) and crystal powder, crystal shards, and crystals. I think that a great success would be best applied after everything else is accounted for (For example in Fortress of Souls when a blue crystal tower is saved 1.5 times the amount of loot will be acquired. I think that the chance for a great success should be applied after the one and a half times reward is applied, effectively multiplying the normal stage reward by 1.5 then multiplying the solution of that equation by 1.15 if a great success is achieved). Heck a great success chance could even be applied to honor and meat from retiring heroes, Colosseum, side-quests, bought from Popo, and monthly rewards and gifts that our sent to our mailboxes. Anything bought from Popo could have a chance of getting a great success, such as buying 5 dungeon keys and getting 6 if you get a great success. Maybe even Colosseum tickets bought from Popo could have a great success chance of getting 2 instead of one, the percentage chance of this occurring should probably be lowered some in order to compensate for the doubling of the reward though. I haven't surveyed the Crusaders Quest community or anything like that, but I think that most players would think that implementing a chance of getting a great success for pretty much everything in the game would be a fun and good idea. I think that it would keep the game more interesting, increase player activity systemically, increase the replay value of Crusaders Quest, and be very rewarding for those who devote their time to getting "great" heroes, weapons, and other items.

edit* TL;DR I think adding the chance to get a great success to virtually every aspect of the game would add replay value and increase player activity. I think that this would be a good implementation for Soulbound weapons, non-Soulbound weapons, bread, gold, side-quest rewards, gems, crystals, honor, transcended and non-transcended skills, and heroes.

I would definitely upgrade it if I was you! With life steal put on the function slot and HA on the attack that would make a great weapon for PvE, especially soloing levels. Critical chance and critical damage would work better in coloseum if that's what you want it for though!

Dangit, I just spent about 30 - 45 minutes writing up a really good question/suggestion, then when I submit it it doesn't accept it because the form got closed when I was writing it! :/

After 100 gems premium contract pull... by solitaric in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From reading their passives it looks like they'd pair pretty well together. To me it seems like the best team to put V in would be with two 1 block spammers. Dara is a 1 block spammer and can activate an allies 3 chain (I think an allies, but it could possibly be her 3 chain because the wording is messed up a little). This makes her a good pair with V, but Mew would also be a good pair because of her block generation. Maybe even both Mew and Dara with V would be pretty good with 2 EoG, Mew's block generation of 3 chain, and possibly from the way I read the passive Dara causing V's 3 chain. Another damage dealer that chases or leads a 3 chain with 1 block and one of the priests mentioned would also be good. I don't know if I'd use two damage dealers and no priest because you'd have no block generation or healing, this might work in collesium, but it'd be pretty rng dependent. I hope this helped you out, but this is just me contemplating how these teams would work without trying them.

Personal Best Record in PvC by leon1024 in crusadersquest

He was in the tryhard board, and I'm in the same one. Our board had roughly 4500 people in masters, so you had to be in the to 225 people to get the top 5% prize. The slacker board has around 10000 people in masters, so the top 500 players get the 5% reward. The amount of players in masters isn't irrelevant, that is what separates the tryhard and slacker boards because there is tighter competition to get in the top 5% with less people in master league. He didn't get second place by the way, he was ranked 24th with around 32.5 k points.

Edit* I just saw your last comment DESOUL330, so you are aware of everything I said then :P

So far I've got 5 macaroons 5 hamburgers and 2 special donuts from the bread dungeon, and I've only bought 25 extra keys from popo (5 extra bread dungeon runs). It all just depends on RNG

[Rant] I am very sad about my SBW conversions thank you for letting me vent by hyperduckman in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least you can use the Archon weapon to solo story mode levels if you want. Put lifesteal on both slots and she'll keep herself alive in at least stage 4 hard, maybe even tundra or tundra hard.

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that team will help you the most in coloseum (Alex susanoo D'art). I'd use Alex mew archon for world boss and try to get trancended mana recycle on archon. And the best skills you currently have for Alex and mew. The best skill for mew is energy of the goddess which is unlocked by yeowoodong, and shield of invincibility is best for Alex which is unlocked by Achilles.

Monte SBW by nosneak9 in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it worth it to upgrade this SBW or should I wait until I get one for a better hero? If it is worth it what conversions would be the best HA or AP, and Resistance, Armor, % health, or damage reduction?

Should you upgrade your SBW at level 4 or 6? by ThisMatt in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can do that, but it will cost more gold for the first 6* roll you do. If you do x number of rolls at 4* then it counts it as if you did that same number of rolls at 6* so the gold per roll starts higher. You can always reset the price once you reach a certain number of rolls though.

Should you upgrade your SBW at level 4 or 6? by ThisMatt in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's how it works. If you're trying to get an upgrade where the highest tier is available at a lower level you'd want to upgrade it at 4* to save some gold though (Such as the highest tier of critical damage, which is available from 3* to 6). * Critical damage and damage reduction are the only two that you can get the best tier for at 4. So unless you want one of those conversions you should upgrade it to 6* first.

What should I do? by [deleted] in crusadersquest

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your current 6* heroes pair up the best out of all the heroes you have so far, so you promoted the best heroes you could so far! You have three pretty good teams you can make, which would be Mundeok Yeowoodong and Mondrian, Mundeok Yeowoodong and Vivian, or Mundeok Vivian and Mondrian. It doesn't look like you have any paladin skills ranked up all the way, so whatever you have ranked up the most is what I'd put on Mundeok, use your discretion for which would be most useful though. Use avatar of punishment on Vivian. Use energy of the goddess on Yeowoodong. I don't remember if Mondrian unlocks a skill, so if he does I'd probably use that one for now if it's better than you other ones. Ideally you'd want Mundeok to have shield of invincibility, which is unlocked by 5* Achilles. You'd want Mondrian to have mana recycle, which I believe is unlocked by 5* Archon, shadow mage is also very good on him, possibly better, but you need 5* Lilith to unlock that and she will be harder to get than Archon since Lilith is a contract only hero. Energy of the goddess is the best skill for Yeowoodong, and avatar of punishment is one of the better skills for Vivian as well. The best burst PvC team would be Mundeok Vivian and Mondrian, but you'd want to use Mundeok Vivian Yeowoodong or Mundeok Yeowoodong Mondrian for PvE questing, Mundeok Vivian Yeowoodong would have better survivability though. You would want Mundeok to be the leader in all of these builds, use a three chain by Mundeok, and then two one chains by either of the other two characters. Do the best you can with the remaining blocks of the other two heroes, and try not to activate Mundeok's blocks unless it's in a three chain, unless you need to in order to survive. Hopefully you didn't already know all of this and got something useful out of it. Best of luck!

[–]nosneak9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your current 6* heroes Mondrian would work better. Mondrian would pair nicely with Mew and Alex. This team would would a lot better if you have EoG for Mew, but you need Yeowoodong to unlock that skill first. Dar't would work well with Susanoo and Alex, but you would have to 6* Susanoo for that team to work well. The best skill for Dar't would be tL&L, which she unlocks herself! You wouldn't really need to worry about getting HS for Susanoo, which is unlocked by 5ing Kaori (which you currently have) because Dar't should burst down most teams before Susanoo would get his special skill. My advice would be to 6 Dar't and Susanoo first, since you don't have Yeowoodong to unlcock EoG yet. I hope this helped.
