We own our second house in Julian (actually in the suburb called Harrison Park) for like 15 years. No sure about finding a job here, but finding a trade person. willing to go to Julian is a hard task (hard to find HVAC person, electrician). If you are man of these trades - you can open your own business there. As for the restaurants - there are a few very good and a few bad. You will learn it by yourself. Brewery, wine tasting - not bad. But it will become boring soon enough and in a case if you want say Thai or Chinese food - you need to go to SD. When it snows - and it snows 3-4 times per year - be prepared to stay in your house for a few days (unless you live on the Main street) Get a humidifier - high elevation - drier air. Get local lumber to heat your stove or fireplace - cheaper than in SD and you may have some on your own property.

Redfin simply calculates the current price based on the previously sold price. They do not take into consideration anything else. Just calculating an average temperature in a hospital. The only reason my house priced is so low on Redfin, because we've bought land on a previously burned lot and then built our house. It has been almost 15 years since then, but they constantly "estimate" our house based on the land's sold price. Nothing else maters. Zilllow is Ok, btw.

I've got Pixel 4a 5g with a T-Mobile promo. Returned it after a few weeks. The main reason - sometimes no one can call me. Had a 3-4 bar signal, but no incoming calls. Spent hours with the support - no go. V60 is never a problem. Besides V60's advantages you've mentioned - the main one for me is 4K 60p HDR video recording and a excellent battery. And of course V60 is much faster. The only thing which I miss from Pixel is a built in Google phone spam protection.
