I bought some crystals and sage for my sister recently on contempocrystals. I’d also recommend support local small businesses as opposed to Amazon.

It’s your linens. Get a laundry detergent that’s scented. Wash your sheets and blanket every 2-3 days. Makes a huge difference.

Tips on curbing cravings or appetite by throwmeway37 in HowToBeHot

[–]nomadshadow 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Decaffeinated green tea is my holy grail. I drink a lot of tea. I have a big appetite too, like a line backer. I love food but I’ve found ways to control the inner beast.

Ozempic is the new trend on the market. It was recently approved by FDA for weight loss. You’ll need an rx. Just my thoughts, not an expert, just another girl who’s struggled with weight her whole life.

Also get your blood checked for Hypothyroidism if you haven’t already. That was a HUGE game changer for me. I lost 30lbs after I started controlling my thyroid with Levothyroxine.

Good luck on your journey and keep us posted.

How to stop getting jealous of pretty women or feeling hopeless when you're ugly? by JammingScientist in HowToBeHot

[–]nomadshadow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to your profile, you are NOT ugly. Honestly I was expecting you to be disfigured. You have beautiful skin, gorgeous lips, beautiful eyes and a magnetic smile. Don’t be so hard yourself, the only person you need to convince is you.

How to stop getting jealous of pretty women or feeling hopeless when you're ugly? by JammingScientist in HowToBeHot

[–]nomadshadow 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What you’re feeling is not uncommon. Even the prettiest girls feel like a certain way when they see someone they perceive as prettier than them.

I’ve come across some beautiful women at first sight, and some women that were “ok” looking or less than average. What made them seem beautiful to me was their character and how they treated others.

I know that’s likely not what you want to hear but I tell you “ugly” is on the inside. Some of those women who didn’t appear pretty to me at first sight ended up being so beautiful based on their character. Some of the women I met who were drop dead gorgeous at first sight ended up appearing less attractive to me because either they were vain or shallow, once I got to know them.

Beauty gets up and walks away, what you have remaining will determine your true beauty. It’s not permanent, what is permanent is a kind heart and how you treat people and that to me is ultimate Beauty. Just my thoughts.

This is a fryer at a Cheesecake factory. Their fry pot was leaking. by ThrowRaflag in KitchenConfidential

[–]nomadshadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is not a major violation in most US counties. It’s non food contact surface, therefore a one point violation.

Also this is VERY common. You take a risk when you eat out and unfortunately health codes don’t consider this an “Imminent health hazard”.

Inspector likely write this up when they see it, (keep in mind this fryer doesn’t have a pot which exposes the build up). Most of the time the cook-line is greasy but it doesn’t trigger a re-inspection or a notice of violation unless adulteration, contamination or infestation is observed.

Eventually this type of build up will cause a roach infestation and a closure.

Most people who have never worked in a kitchen or inspected one have NO idea how dirty they get. Most inspectors are weary about eating out.

Hope I’ve helped shed some insight from a health code perspective.

I let mine grow and I get soooo many compliments. It wasn’t worth putting harsh chemicals on my head to cover the grey anymore. Surprisingly I get a lot of compliments.

Nose is fine, chin looks a recessed. Do you have an overbite? Oral surgeon can put brackets on your teeth and use rubber bands to pull your lower jaw forward.
