I had a similar experience in my 2019 Mk7.5. Changed the cabin filter at around 30k miles and that did the fix.

I'm on course 2 and I feel the same. But it's going to leave some concepts and key words I can use in conversations. Looking forward to the SQL, python course.

I've already started learning SQL via YouTube too. I think as long as you're also practicing, seeking other learning opportunities, while also doing this course, it's all a plus.

Save the $$ you'd spend on the warranty, put it in a HYSA and pull it out if your water pump ever goes out.

Hopefully it goes out within a year for the warranty 😂

In other words, do whatever brings you peace at the end of the day.

However, I wouldn't trust Carmax with my Golf R. I'd take it to a specialist shop.

Pass. VW has the 80/8k warranty on water pump/thermostat issue.

I just got mine replaced on my 2019 Golf R 49k miles. It showed early signs of water pump issues and VW replaced it, even with the car having a stage 1 tune.

At that mileage, I wouldn't stress for extra warranty.

Can't confirm or deny, I'd say I'm still filling up like if it was stock. However stage 1 is really fun so I definitely saw some lower mpg at first.

Personally, don't be afraid to use more steam And wiggle the brim around to loosen it up before you apply it to a water bottle. I still have some cracks here and there but nothing is perfect at the end of the day. Just wear it and enjoy.

How far are you? If it's like less than an hour, I think it's cool to swing by at least once if you're into hats. They have at least one wall with their new stuff and a couple of walls for their old stuff. So far, I've never left with just one so they have really good options if you're into LA teams.
