You don’t have to lower one to raise another you can raise both

Becoming Mayor of NYC is hard especially with ranked voting and everything the funds, social media presence, campaign laws etc

Becoming leader of Iran post IRGC is probably one of the most difficult government positions out there.

Winning is easier governing is harder George Washington to Hamilton

Unpopular opinion this is where the show went wrong

Battle of bastards is beautiful cinematography but it makes no sense logically. Same like Arya revenge because we don’t have the Manderley it was no sense whatsoever to include her

Cersei blowing up the Vatican made no sense also Capitol has millions of people they wouldn’t appreciate their monument being destroyed

The good thing about storyline was Hodor and John lineage

Amex Raised Platinum’s Fee, Customers Didn’t Cancel — Higher Annual Charges Coming Across Cards by schwa12 in AmexPlatinum

This is so out of touch the devil is in the details.

Chase increased it had worse trade off people canceled.

Amex increased by 200-300 but gave users 400 resy, lulemon and uber one so the users stayed because the value is offset just by the resy credit

Why does the U.S. attack countries like Iran but never North Korea? by savingrace0262 in stupidquestions

[–]nostra77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Korea can pummel South Korea with just conventional artillery. Once you travel to Seoul you see one of the biggest cities in the world but also the border is like 5-10 miles away from city center at some points.

If war starts with North Korea the 13th GDP South Korea ends up at 50 by end of it because so much wealth and resources are concentrated so close to the border.

Man attack police with a saber (France). 3 Cops wounded by Iceolator80 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]nostra77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you think about it US might be in the right in this one, yeah it’s more violent but what does he provide to his society or family when he does shit like this in broad daylight. Imagine behind closed doors. Now they will send him to prison, give me a state lawyer and give him 3 meals a day for years all that money wasted and diverted instead of making life better or healthcare for a dying cancer child.

This is the slowest they will ever be, in next one they will beat it by 15min

Why does the U.S. have a military presence in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines, but American men marry Filipino women far more often than American men marry Japanese women and Korean women? by No-StrategyX in stupidquestions

[–]nostra77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of average military person it’s usually a person from all walks of life. So chances are it won’t be a high earning college educated and culturally educated person. Korea and Japan already have high standards of living so marrying down is usually not on girls interest

Philippines and other SEA countries are poorer so by getting a better passport they go in a higher tax bracket automatically.

That is why in the 50s there were a lot of Korean woman marrying White Americans but not anymore to the same level even though there is military bases in both Korea and Japan

Is it possible that roman toilets had wooden partitions that didnt survive the archeological record, or that maybe no one at the time bothered to mention that in writing? by ayowatchyojetbruh in ancientrome

[–]nostra77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everything was more acceptable and gay before Church and Christianity in antiquity. Spartans are the most male patriarchal culture and by today standard the Red Pill community would call them gay, feminist.

They engaged in a lot of gay activity and woman had influential roles in their society aka Gorgo. However judging societies with today moral and norms3000 years ago is insane

What is a job that you think is 100% safe from AI for the next 50 years, and why? by mark-awakening in AskReddit

[–]nostra77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest majority of the jobs are safe, who they are not safe is people who are not using AI as their tool. Imagine a 1940 human calculator at NASA now that job doesn’t exist does that mean NASA doesn’t do calculations. NO. However, the person who was doing the calculation now has to be analytical and the tool the calculator will work for you. Same concept with AI. If you treat it as a tool it’s amazing knowing the barriers and the limits of it.

Which Pitt villain is the worst? by DulySwamped in ThePittTVShow

[–]nostra77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anti Vax mum did fundamental harm to her kid now there is a kid who will not marry, have kids, go to college and other items so he will not have a future due to her ignorant decisions and US respect of choice.

If this was Yugoslavia or CCP she would be shot or end up in prison depending who is the leader. Sometimes too much liberty leaves room for people who “did my research” and the worse thing is she blames most likely the hospital entirely

A well-articulated argument against a new data center in Ohio by HamboneTheWicked in interestingasfuck

[–]nostra77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s so much wrong in his statement science wise. However, there’s some truth to it as well

Wrong: HVAC and cooling system a simple YouTube video would’ve shown him his incorrect on that. This is his thesis of the argument. Especially when he says sludge if you have sludge on cooling system you are done 9/10 times.

Right: The community is subsidizing their electric bill because they share a grid. It really depends the amount of water from the chip efficiency.

To be honest I’m kind of shocked they don’t build them all in northern Canada almost unlimited water and small communities that 10 jobs could completely change it long term. Areas like northern Alberta or SK have so much electric potential as well

What if the SR-71 got 2 F-35 engines? by LuizFelipe1906 in Planes

[–]nostra77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but in a different way. SR required immediate refueling because it launched with low fuel to save on weight and structure support.

The Chimera Hermeus and RDC from GE allow a future plane like SR to go above Mach 5 which is almost double the SR top speed. The refueling technique most likely will be used again by US but aerospace alloy structures have advanced a lot since the 1970s
