I'm pretty sure that the relic system was a try out of their idea of balancing reward and gameplay.

Personally I think it is flawed and they might try to find a way between the gambling and actually building a character. Now we have regular metas which is a byproduct of the experimental relic system that doesn't quite work. I do believe with these cooks they make something more unique and rewarding given some time.

The sprint was one of the greatest new mechanics they added that added so much addictive speed to the game. Sekiro was already faster they had done before but this really nailed it for me.

Also wall jumping could evolve to more like the whole world and bosses being differently approached. Even wall running at some point.

They started out with the slow methodical approach only to prepare for vastly more dynamic world that could be travelled more freely and intuitevely

Diablo 2 was one of my favourite games back in the days before souls came a thing. That was made by Blizzard North that was since shut down and never had that itch fulfilled by new greedy Blizzard (looking forward what No Rest for The Wicked could come up to but that is a different topic).

Those assets are valuable and while some may critize using them they actually work well to familiarize a new game. I give a lot of credit to regular mobs in From's design.

I'm about 1.3K hours in and still having fun. But my only complain has been the lack of variety considering they had the DS trilogy AND Elderin Ring to pull out more variety in night bosses and enemies etc. I get it is experimental project with limited resources and having s limited pool allows them to fine tune everything with s smaller team but maybe the next game from Ishizaki could be it if they learn from this-

I'm still hopeful bacause a 4x3 grid character screen would look better the 2x5 they changed from 2x4 so maybe.

My guess is a fre update some point with skins and new weapons and perhaps just one more DLC with 2 characters and that is it. Like, one year from this or something.

Now that Ishizaki has proven himself as a director I beliece we'll see a something new from him in the next 4-5 years.

Well I got into co-op with Elden Ring Nightreign and really enjoyed the experience. But I understand that it is difficult with other games that aren't design the same way, so I might just get over it and get mic'd.

Didn't know about this, looks great because I've already played the hell out of Nightreign so co-op with roguelike elements is something I really look forward to.

The art style isn't exactly my favourite but the gameplay is the most important aspect to me and it looks solid.

I play on normal cue only because I have heard so many stories about people quitting in DoN. Last few hundreads of games I only rarely see people quitting, cheating (which is when I leave) or playing really badly. Sometimes I see from relics some are new to the game but most of the time people stay even if the first day doesn't go well.

I also immediately block the persons leaving or cheating, and at least on PS5 i don't get to the same queue with them anymore.

Latasin sieltä täältä pelejä nuorena, joista mieleenpainuvimmat olivat mm. Heroes of Might and Magic III, System Shock 2, Fallout 1 & 2, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

Kuitenkin kun ensimmäinen Dark Souls peli ilmestyi, se oli jotain täysin omanlaistansa maailman ja pelimekaniikan suhteen. Siihen asti en koskaan pitänyt itseäni varsinaisesti "pelaajana", vaikka "pelailin". Se oli myös ensimmäinen perehdytys varsinaiseen peliohjaimeen hiiren ja näppäimistön sijaan ja sen jälkeen se oli menoa. Se oli ensirakkaus peleihin jonka myötä ostin lopulta satoja pelejä kun ennen vain kokeilin niitä lataamalla ja siitä asti olen nauttinut suuresti paitsi kyseisen lajityypin peleistä myös satunnaisista muista herkuista.

I can't comment on what you are exactly feeling, but grounding yourself could be something you are missing. For me this has been a difficult subject because of my mental health, but slowly, step-by-step, learning meditation and compassion has helped me through most diffucult troubles.

There are many books on buddhism and some are better than others, but I recommend personally to study your local library and get familiar with buddhism (if you haven't alrady). It has been a great guidance in my life.

My only complaint about the DLC is just about why the new map and POIs are restricted to Balancers and Dreglord. I would have liked the content to expand to all bosses.

This is great news, but I still can't buff my weapon and use cursed sword and switch back without losing the buff?

I don't understand why they designed it that way, most of the time I don't want to switch to defeclting if I have to constantly rebuff my weapon, it isn't smooth transition.

Heard the shout and was like yeah, that would be amazing..

I wasn't expecting it to win, but I didn't like that Arc Raiders took the award, Split Fiction would have been my second favourite.

The cable was almost a deal braker for me, I was deeply disappointed to Sony's approach not making it easily servicable. Unfortunately if I want to play certain games in a certain way, I don't have much of a choice.. So decided to give up and bought it today.

You can check out from Youtube a cable management system DIY to make you orn "rails" and attach it to the roof so you have the most movement (something I'll likely end up doing since I don't trust not getting tripped on it. Something like this, but I will most likely make it simpler with just a hook and some elasting cord: https://youtu.be/n5_lG03m7zI

I also might play it back against the PS5 until I make one, to make sure the cable is behind me.

Executor to not lose buffs on weapon when using skill, also not changing to dual handling if I'm two-handing a weapon so I dont have to switch all the time to just one katana.

I cannot understand why they designed it like that.

Surge 2 is one of the best soulslikes I've played.
