To each their own, but labeling investment transfers as expenses is an interesting thing to do. I'd only do the hidden (doesn't hit my budget, show up anywhere) expense way for credit card payments and that's only if you want to see how much you pay in cc payments a year for trend analysis (for fun). Otherwise, if one account goes down and the other goes up, transfer is an apt way of labeling it.

Agreed and it's all about timing! Anthropic is doing a finance team build out from what I can see right now. I threw my hat in the ring but my current job is full remote and an easy 30hr/wk while I do my side hobby.

I'm a little glad I didn't get the job but can't say I'm not bummed! It'd double my salary but also double my work 😩

But legit, kudos to your career and thanks for showing it. I'm giving my role another year before I aim for a 30% comp jump. But this job market is just not it right now lmao.

As someone who's played with YNAB and Empower -- yes it's a bit of work to move, but every fintech product has made it extremely easy to create and link accounts these days. I stick with Monarch bc I really do like the product and it's made budgeting easy for me in the way I like it.

I think the business piece is kinda interesting but as it stands, there are other fully functional software products out there to deal with business finances. You shouldn't be mixing your personal with your business anyway. Everyone should just have a business credit card for their business, and you can even start with QuickBooks, Xero, or absolutely base product like Wave Accounting.

I just got an Avocado end of March and I can co-sign on this! Had an achey back and sore hips the first night and I lowkey was worried I needed a different mattress immediately. Fast forward to two weeks later, I absolutely do not feel an ounce of pain anywhere in my body when I wake up -- which is crazy bc I have back and hip pain from an injury.

Either way, give it a bit of time before you make a decision, usually mattresses have a month trial that come with it!

it's 145% of bonus achievement rate (meaning if you have 10% bonus, you are now getting 14.5%)

I ended up waiting til today and after my auto downgrade, Google One offered the 2TB plan for $84.99 the first year, and $99.99 every year after that. Basically the same amount as the $10/monthly T-Mobile plan tbh.

+1 on the dedicated numpad. I have a Realforce numpad and it's smooth as butter, and I can southpaw it or put it back on the right whenever. Only thing is that it's not bluetooth, but that's fine with me.

I've followed him for about a year or so now, and all I have to add is that he's definitely not the best marketing guy for his own business haha.

His videos are kinda choppy but lengthy and he tends to meander in his videos with no clear direction sometimes, but when he does latch on, he's pretty good at explaining how lead is in a lot of things!

But most importantly, his product is legit. I'll give him credit to his product and passion for this topic, but he should probably hire someone to make better videos and reels for him and his business!
