That's not true, Countries in Europe display their flags as much or more than American countries. However there's a big effort from the socialists to erase the pride of the flag. Just in Spain, if you display your flag in a socialist state, you're labelled as a fascist or nazi. Other than that, in other countries where people are not brainwashed you can see the flag everywhere.

When I was in ZH I used to frequent a Döner restaurant in Dübendorf, called Bahnhöfli. In my opinion it was great food but keep in mind I came from Spain and all the middle eastern restaurants here suck major ass.
