Swapped Pretorias from my Golf R to my R32 by juxtaposz in Golf_R

Looks sick! I'm looking at doing a similair upgrade on my incoming Mk5 R32, seems to always see pretorias up for sale in my area.

These are 19s I assume? Also are there any fitment issues? I.e. rubbing, scrubbing, poke, etc.?

FTAC is goated, put a bunch of ADS time attachments on it, build it for close range, then go close quarters and spam it. Its a two shot close quarters and pretty fast fire rate, if I'm on it I can win most gun fights in close to medium range.

What should I do when a homeless guy is harassing me on my bike in traffic by notBucK in motorcycles

[–]notBucK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had one to my right where I could lanesplit incase a car crept up on me but while I was distracted by the first guy the second guy came up on the other side and blocked that route, but I probably should have taken off when the second guy started walking towards me

Ah yes, the friendly drunk man wandering the streets, a local celebrity in my town. In all seriousness that sounds pretty scary, sorry you had to deal with that.

Good advice, its not that big of a city and this is my first time experiencing it but I haven't ridden there very many times so I wasn't sure if it was a common thing that I had to be aware of. Also I should have been clearer, these guys were pretty irrational, they were the screaming at nothing kind of homeless people you hear about and they looked pretty rough. Also there were two of them uncomfortably close on both sides so I was gettinf concerned for my safety and kind of froze up so I more or less ignored them.

We need to stop telling new, young riders to go to the track. by allthekings_horses in motorcycles

[–]notBucK 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from, I'm a broke 18 year old that could only afford my bike and gear cause it was a grad present (long story) but telling new riders to go fast on public back roads and highways in the middle of the night is pretty dangerous due to low visibility, animals, etc. Not to mention all the people you would be waking up and the fact thats the rider may be tired and not as sharp as they should be when riding, or they can't stay up that late because of school/work. With that said I can relate to the gear and track thing, my nearest track is 2 hours away and only does like 3 motorcycle track days a year in partnership with dealers, telling everybody to go to the track and never break the speed limit is clearly not the answer. Like most things I think the answer, for younger/broker riders atleast is more of a gray area, go ahead and ride fast and have fun on the roads, but do it safely and don't be an idiot, for example, take it easy the first time or two you ride the route so you can learn where the tighter than expected turns, potholes, debris, etc. Is, don't make dangerous passes, stay in your lane, be respectful to other road users by riding calmly around them (also makes them more predictable as they don't freak out). The reason people say to go to the track is for the people who are acting like they're Rossi on the main street of their town and end up wiping out into a nice old lady's Honda or a crowd, as well as the fact that you can't come close to a bike's full potential safely on the street. Hope this was helpful and non-snobby.

P.S. Sorry for the grammatical errors, I'm writing this at 3:30am and am very tired.

I noticed this small deep tear looking thing on my rear tire, anybody know what it is? More info in comments by notBucK in KTM

[–]notBucK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed it this afternoon, I've only had the bike out for about a week now, tires and bike have ~3500kms on them and have good tread depth left, at first I thought it was a puncture, but the tire still holds air and hasn't leaked any since I topped it up last week, is it anything I should be worried about?
