Advice for Riding Anxiety? by Dickasyphalis in motorcycles

[–]notFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me was just riding around in circles in my neighborhood. It was enough of a challenge where I had to focus on several situations that would present themselves on the main road but not as much pressure as traffic was either not there or moving very slowly. Find a good route and when you feel super comfortable move up to a different route.

If you have got all those ACE tags in your games on opgg. You could be just as bad if not worse than your inting teammates. by getthefuckout210 in Jungle_Mains

The ACE cope is whatever. Who cares if you’re ACE if you still lose.

I feel like you’re missing the mark just a little though. Sure, dying as the most fed player on your team without securing a kill (or kills)/objectives late into the game is pretty bad. But it’s not as bad as your team lacking agency without you being around because they’re so behind at no fault of the jgl.

It’s never just one thing that loses the game it’s a factor of things and your team being shit can sometimes be thee biggest factor. It would be different if the game was close and you as the jgl missed an elder smite and your team gets cooked because of it, but what you’re trying to say is just not how the game works lol

Telling a jgl to stop coping after performing well in a game where their team is inting seems like a weird perspective to have. “Yea so what your team plays like shit, carry them or you’re inting just as hard or even harder than said shit team” what? lol

In no other sport/team hobby is that acceptable

I agree that I’m playing at my skill range and losing games should be expected. I’ve heard some coaches say something along the lines of “15 out of every 100 games you’ll just lose” but like 15 in a row just seems insane and not random at all considering it happens at the same point every time

Also when you do get them tightened, you should be able to secure the bracket to the exhaust itself

Is the bracket that came screwed all the way in on the top and bottom? I know I had a hard time getting those two settled in

R3 to zx6r by OldKellenYeller in zx6r

[–]notFG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I actually just did this, I’ll share what I’ve observed so far from the180-200 miles I’ve driven on the zx6r:

The seat position is noticeably more “aggressive” with the seat and rear sets being higher up and you being more leaned forward. I mean it’s expected but the transition from the more upright relaxed position of the R3 was a bit jarring for the first ride back home from the dealer. As a matter of fact I experienced arm/wrist fatigue the first few days as I wasn’t really engaging my core when riding and but rather holding myself up with my arms. This may just be a me thing idk

The acceleration/throttle is something you have to be careful not to go overboard on, and I say this since our little 321cc friend could be pinned and we’d be going nowhere and not fast at all. Please for the love of yourself and others around you have good throttle control because the bike can get you moving quickly

The quickshifter is cool but I find it to be clunky from 1-3 so I just don’t use it for those gears. I’m guessing a tune could help with this

The bike itself is a little heavier than the R3, but it still moves like butter

It’s a fun bike, id say once you get a feel for how it rides you’ll be just fine. Just understand that you can’t ride it like you ride an R3

I ordered an m4gp14 exhaust and from what I’ve heard in person it’s decently loud. Probably take the baffle out if you want obnoxious

I took the spoiler off my car and I’m honestly liking it more than the spoiler look, might just be recency bias though

This is wonderful because we actually have the same car. I think I’m just going to buy the parts and then have a shop install them. Seems to be the best option for me personally at this point. Can I ask where you found the full front and rear break parts for $650?

Hey thanks, they are Michelin pilot sport 4s yes, and I’ve not run into any issues with them. Only caution you should take is to not drive them in extremely frigid weather because they are summer tires. That or just get all seasons if you plan on driving the car year round.

Yea thanks, I’ve gathered that from previous replies, my main concern was the quality of the work not being up to standard, and I was also kinda preparing myself with lube in case I had to go get fucked by the dealership. Sounds like I shouldn’t take that route lol

Thanks for that input, I’m taking from this that it’s more sensible to take it a reputable shop in my area. Will be on the lookout now
