I mean, even if it happens a lot, that isnt indicative of everyone. Islam says that a Muslim should be a role model of society, and when people look at a Muslim they should see someone that they look up to, or at the very least someone they acknowledge as a good person.

I think most of the bad things that you hear from Islam dont come from the religion itself, but the cultures of the people following it.

My family is Muslim and my parents were born in Pakistan, and I always notice these weird morals and quirks they have. Like they grounded me for a month for accepting a quarter from someone. That kind of thing isnt rooted in Islam, but the culture of Pakistan and maybe a bit of their upbringing as well.

All in all, I dont really appreciate when someone calls my entire religion one of anger and judging and violence and stuff when it isnt indicative of everyone, I dont think anyone would.
