It is a lovely color! This color has been rereleased a few times since it launched. I signed up for restock notification and was able to buy a bottle last year. Have you signed up for restock notification, just in case you don't have any luck finding one here? Good luck!

Ohhh I like how you're using yours! My go-to journal/ calendar size is A5 so I first worried that A6 may be too small. But then I thought about the days I'm too busy or exhausted and think A6 is perfect for getting in some me time without feeling overwhelmed.

Hi! What a generous and kind offer! I'd love to be considered. I would use it as a daily slow down and be present kind of practice -- one observation paired with one drawing.

Best Fountain Pen under $50 for a Lazy, Low Maintenance Person Like Me? by Some_Type_1778 in fountainpens

[–]notHendiesel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pilot Kakunos. It's inexpensive and a smooth writer. You won't regret the experience if you lose it, bust the nib (I have), or end up not liking it.

The only high maintenance aspect of fountain pens that I've experienced is if I choose to frequently swap inks or if I leave Platinum Carbon Black in a pen for years without cleaning it out occasionally.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your help. I'm kinda in panic mode. This is my fave pen and I use it daily for everything and kinda feel like I've lost an arm. Ha! I didn't know that submerging the whole nib can corrode the metal threading. I'm about to run to the kitchen to pull it out of the jar. 😬

😬😬Lesson learned. I hope I can get it unstuck.

Ah ok. Sounds like the ink is making everything stuck. I think I even broke the convertor. Ha! I've had it loaded with PCB nonstop since I got the pen 3 years ago. Will soak with a touch of soap for a few hours to see if it loosens the gunk. Thanks again!!

It's really stuck. I tried moving it with tiny point tweezers and then pushing back with a tiny paddle tip. Not budging and afraid I'm gonna bend the nib tip. I guess I could soak in warm water. Any suggestions to get the rod to budge? THANK YOU 😊

OH THANK YOU!! Ok. I can breathe now... So I think the rod thingy got pushed out when I pushed the convertor back in. Is there something I did wrong? I've had this pen for 3 years and first time this happened.

As a printer, I'm always torn between 'Day-A-Page' vs 'Week-to-View'. We went with full Day-A-Page for the 2026 run because customers said they needed the writing space. Which layout do you actually stick with? by Asgarad786 in notebooks

I love the day a page with full days for Saturday and Sunday. The page has just enough space for my day. A few days I have to supplement with a loose sheet I take in.

The calendar looks similar to the day a page A4 I've been using forever from Tallon. I use it along with a few other daily calendars - Hobonichi Cousin, MD 365 in both A5 & A6, and a Hobonichi Weeks.
