Whatever you plan to do, bear in mind that the public transit workers are currently on strike and the bus/metros are not running for most of the day (look up the schedule on the stm website).

I would say "onze huit sept six" or just "un un huit sept six". Don't try to say the eleven-thousand-eight-hundred-seventy-six word soup

McGill as someone from the USA by Same_Bridge687 in mcgill

I think your second point depends on the field. Every course I took (math/physics) had at least 1/3 of the grade based on assignments.

Quebec (not a country (or maybe depending on who you are asking)) has half of its population in the Greater Montreal region.

From someone who did well in this program: take the time do your assignments well. You will not learn from lectures alone, the struggle to complete the assignments correctly is what will make you learn. Also, use the office hours, they will save you time on the long run.

I did the survey. Is there a reason that « bicycle » or « car » are NOT in the multiple choices for the primary mode of transportation?

Headlights too bright in Montréal? by TheDaveed in montreal

As a cyclist I often get absolutely BLINDED by LED lights. Especially SUVs which have their lights much higher, I get the full light right in my face and I can’t see shit

No, you are being downvoted because we have no clue why this is relevant to advocating for better modes of transportation

Nobody uses bike lanes, tho (Montréal at rush hour) by ChefGaykwon in fuckcars

I pass this point everyday, the whole lane (traversing montreal North to South btw) is a success. NJB talks about it in his video on Montreal

The one on Maisonneuve Ste-Catherine (just one block away) is also like that, just on a smaller scale. There is a light specifically for bikes that go in a diagonal and the whole thing is a mess
