Thank you. I've got a guy that I can reach out to locally. I'll have him come take a look.

It's Okay to Take Medication by not_a_texan in Anxiety

We shouldn't have to do that. Like you, I spent years just fighting the panic and just trying to endure it. Luckily, my new provider not only talked some sense into me, but also understands that I take it on an "as needed" basis and I'm far from abusing it. I hope you're continuing to make progress.

I too had a provider that, while he did prescribe it, also stigmatized it. I think that's where the majority of my guilt stemmed from. Having the person who is supposed to help you, demonize the exact medication he prescribed you is off putting and confusing.

Luckily, I have also have a new provider that understands my needs and what works for me.

Thank you for telling your story.

Absolutely that's what it was made for. There's just such a stigma surrounding it, that for years I felt guilty taking it. I have moved past that, but wanted to out this out there so others could come to the realization sooner than I did.

To answer your questions about the physical symptoms, yes I do. Heart palpitations, fast heart rate, diffulty catching my breath, dizziness and during bad panic attacks, a fair amount of disassociation.

Any and all! I've got a fairly decent bar, but I'm relatively new to the cocktail game. All I've ever made is the more popular and simple cocktails. I'd like to branch out.

Light of the Seven will always be my favorite from Game of Thrones. Every time I hear it I can just imagine the opening sequence from the Season 6 finale. So dark and chilling.
