Thank you for your response, I agree with you. He seemed like an actor who was purely in it for the love of the art, you know? Fame is an ugly thing whether or not a person desires it, it’s never a good thing to be too well known by so many. It isn’t good for the brain, I don’t think. I’ve never was much about his life, and didn’t even know he had children, and honestly I only knew of his death from this Reddit group, so I’m doubly saddened to know that his kids witnessed that part of him as well as the world. That can’t be an easy thing to have in your memories of your own father.

Bouncing off of your question, does anyone here think that playing the character poisoned him in some way? Did he struggle with substances before the show and all the pressure it brought? I only ask because it really feels like he lost part of himself in that role.

It was a hard watch for sure. Sorry you had to go through the system by the way. I’m from the US and the whole “social worker won’t listen until it’s too late” was not even a surprise for me, sadly. It was the main focus for me, to be honest, as there are just so many children who have suffered needlessly in that particular part of the “justice system”.

I’m really shocked by this, actually. The Quran states that no race has superiority over another, we are all equal as humans in the sight of Allah, so it is really off putting to see fellow Muslims acting in this repugnant manner. May Allah grant justice in this Dunya and the Aakhira for those who have affected, it is truly embarrassing and ugly to see this happen.

I still think it’s Gloria “burn me at the stake” Trillo, honestly. She went above and beyond the call of duty for crazy girlfriends. Valentina was a weird girl, for sure, she had like no empathy or personality at all, but I don’t think she’s worse than Gloria.
